It’s that time of year again! Crowned by a soft grey sky, the world transforms into a winter wonderland. Fluffy white flakes pitch and dance around each other, descending to join snowbanks encircling sleeping trees. Icicles line cave entrances, hanging down to catch whatever sunlight peaks through the clouds. Scattered against the surface of crystalline lakes and ponds are mosaics of color, and flurried shadows chase one another freely beneath thick layers of ice. A silence blankets the earth, peace hanging in the air.

Beautiful as it is, it can’t remain undisturbed – where’s the fun in that? So, when a single cat pops up, determined to draw a broken path through the picturesque waves of snow, it doesn’t take long for their clanmates to follow them. Before the day is done and all the good snow has been used up, surely your clan would like to participate in the fun, right? So get to it!! Let's make a snow-cat!!

The season of giving has arrived at last!! In between all the gifts and the advent treats, I thought it would be a good idea to give you the opportunity to gift something special to the friends you’ve met along the way! While I’m not in control of a fantastic feast or any baskets and bundles of herbs – of which, you may need to look elsewhere for – I will be helping you bring to life a custom cat fit for your friends’ clans! And, I’ll also be the messenger for anything you’d like to tell them – be it a “Happy Holidays” or a personal comment about their work or friendship to you!

Given this is meant to be a bit of a fun surprise after all, you will need to send me a private message either here or on discord. Please make sure to fill out the form below with as much information as you’d like, and please feel free to add anything extra!! I’m going to need your help with some lines, designs and an overall personality for your present. While these cats may carve out a unique path through your friends’ stories, I’d still love to give you the opportunity to provide these characters with a little more oomph, just to show off all the thought you’ve put into creating them! There are no restrictions, so anything goes!! Be creative!!

These presents are only meant to be revealed in the days coming up to Christmas, so please make sure to keep your giftees and your custom ideas a secret!! The wait may be a bit long, but I’m sure it’ll be worth it! And if you’re worried that you won’t be getting anything out of this – first of all, don’t be. This is a gift-giving event – don’t worry! Your friends will have your back <3

Some Rules, before we get into it!
1. Your letter must be addressed to another user! This is not an event designed to gift yourself.
2. You may write up to three letters, but they each must be addressed to a different user. You cannot send one user three cats.
3. You do not need to pick a user for two of your three letters if you want the recipient to be random! But at least one of your letters needs to have a user in mind.
4. Do not mention your gift's recipient outside of our pms! This is meant to be a surprise!!
5. Do not beg for letters. You will not receive any cats sent your way if you are caught doing this.
6. Do not beg your giftee for future relations with their cat. This is their gift and they can do with it what they'd like.
7. Make sure not to lock your gift cat into a certain age range or gender bracket in your descriptions! These are still technically blankslates, after all!
8. Have fun and be kind!!
9. Please title your pms on CS as 'Letter to Santa Claws' so it gets sorted into the right folder!

uh-oh, another one of my presents has been hidden by these pesky cats! maybe you can help me out again to try to find it?

the presents have been hidden somewhere in my cs posts, all relating to cac. these include the fanclub, the main thread, readoption thread, the gathering thread, even my character and writing archives. i will post on the fanclub when a present has gone missing, and the first person to pm me (on cs only, i will not be checking discord for this event) a link to the post with the present will receive a cat that can be added into their clan. this post will be edited when the present is found.
