It has been dead for a really long time and the owner of the thread doesn't look like they've been online since 2015. We might just need a good, solid discussion to get people invested again.

Here's something I've actually been wondering for a while: for those of you newer to anime, what are the first few things you watched?
I've been invested in anime for... 12? 13 years now? Quite a good long time. Back then, people's first anime were things like Inuyasha, DBZ, Naruto, Bleach, FMA. What special show pulls new anime watchers into the industry these days?

I used to fantasize about kissing Nagisa Shiota. I reread AC recently and found he is still the cutest and best.
But to be honest, when it comes to anime, crushes rarely last longer than a few days or weeks, so I’ve never had a “Husbando”.

And @Princess Nishea, that gif! I should have mentioned Blood Blockade Battlefront is my favourite anime, I have zero presence of mind.

I’ve literally never seen the anime, but the OP is addictive, and I think I’ve seen every version of it to ever exist (the Naruto version, the Pokémon version, the Hellsing Version, etc).

I’ve also seen a really good Mr. Blue Sky Kekkai Sensen AMV.
If the anime itself is even half as good as the OP and that AMV I watched, then I might have to check it out one day.
