Yesterday I got a book called Moon Bear from Waterstone's. I also saw a copy of Seekers: Spirits in the Stars (I read the synopsis... What the heck is a premonition?), but I didn't buy it because I haven't finished Fire in the Sky yet.

I love the quote in your signature.
And I agree. Everyone should read it.

Does anyone know any good steampunk books?

I bought that book recently because of a couple people talking about it here, but have yet to start it. Gotta finish my library books.

I'm on a semi-hiatus, but would be willing to come back
full time for a good RPG.
I'll look at anything, but I prefer
animals, and I won't do Hunger Games/Divergent, anything
supernatural, or anything where the main point is romance.
I've done Warrior cats and Camp Half-Blood RPGs quite a
few times, including hosting my own on another site, but I
would prefer not to do either of those RPGs again. I might
instead be interested in a Hogwarts RPG, or maybe something
based in WW1 or WW2. I'm probably semi-literate, but please,
nothing below that. (And I like RPing male characters, if
you're in need of any.)

So, have an RPG suggestion? Or maybe a trade? Or just
wanna message me? Please, don't hesitate! (;

Ok, so I'm weird about reading. I absolutely despise non-fiction or biographies or auto-biograpghies! I will read any type of fiction but I just recently asked my librarian and I have checked out almost every book in her library in the past 2 and a half years! I need some fictional, realistic fictior, or histoical fictions to read. Any ideas?!)

I've seen the movie Hugo, but other than that, no.

Has anyone read/is reading The Host?

Well, right now I am re-reading Les Miserables by Victor Hugo. It is quite long, but it is very, very historical. Character-wise, it has the air of the age of romanticism, but morality and world-view wise it is deep-rooted realism.
However, try to get a recently translated copy of it, because I cheaply bought the first English translation (of 1864 no less) and I have a dictionary now at my side, trying to understand all those pompous words. But otherwise, it is great. It educates a lot history and culture-wise and entertains.
