I used to use premade linearts all the time. But now i use my own linearts. Sometimes i will make custom lines for custom designs but sometimes i don't have the time.

Well I use pre made linearts too. Basically because I cannot to save my life draw animals. A lot of people have that problem too. I'm sorry, that comment just bugged me because that's basically how I make my living on cs.

As someone who has used bases before, I can safely say that it doesn't help at all. You can't get better at drawing animals by not drawing animals. It's not like putting it off will suddenly make you able to draw animals.

Well it doesn't really matter wether I want to get better or not drawing animals, people are born with their talents. =| And I enjoy using linearts.

If it's her own lines, fine, I can agree with that. I am only personally against selling designs on other people's lineart. That is it. I wouldn't buy one of those designs. IF others want to, they can, and I can't stop them. More power to them!

People aren't born with talents, to be honest. Anyone can be an artist if they try hard enough. I used to draw terribly when I first started out, I wasn't some 6-year old prodigy, please don't believe that artists just pick up a pencil at the age of 5 and draw some incredibly detailed piece. It's not like that.

spent a good 15 years drawing and haven't gotten any bettter. wasn't made to draw i was made to design : D

i use pre-made linearts, i gave up trying to draw, i figured after 15 years of trying it was just dumb to keep going. so i focused my attention to learning about color theory and sticking with designing. least there i know 1. people actually like some of the stuff i make, 2. i'll always see progress, and 3. gives me something to prove to myself that even though i'm colorblind i can create something someone would like. my art on the other hand, no ones ever actually been interested no matter what aspect i go in to (digital, traditional, pixel etc).

if that makes my stuff low quality THEN SO BE IT, i'm proud to be a low quality designer c:

Abissh, I'm sure your designs are nice and high-quality. Diesel just wouldn't buy them because she has a preference. c: We all have preferences for designs.
