1. So with the approval of the CS staff and the kalon staff, the DKAY (draw the kalon above you thread) is up and running once more! New rules are in place so that scamming doesn't happen so check those out. We would love you to stop by and join the fun! All art skill levels and types are welcome!

Hello, everyone! First formal post here as back in March I won my first Kalon, Bartholomew via a readoption competition held by Error (Thank you so much again!) I should of posted a lot earlier than now but at least I can now display some of the wonderful art I've commissioned of him.

To tell a little about him; he's deeply enchanted by the sea, believing it to be a real entity that is playing games with him. He longs to be able to go under the choppy waves and discover ever corner of the ocean but he isn't a strong swimmer nor does his relatively thick fur help. Overall, he's a bit of sad soul that's lost in his own delusions. I'd be interested in building some relationship for/with him, feel free to hit me up with a pm c:

And thanks to the wonderful summer event I was able to get some edits to make his design fit his theme and story even better! I would like to get his tail and shine edited if anyone would be willing to help me out. I can pay with C$, various very rares/rares from 09 onward, or FR currency. I also believe his growth was done off-oekaki and I'd like to have him transferred over if possible as well.

@honeysticks I just love your art style ahhh, the small faces are too cute and awesomely comedic at the same time! I also love how much they look like sticker, it'd be pretty cool to see what they would look like as legit stickers. Hopefully I can commission you one day, and I'm glad you reached your goal!
@sun struck Man your pixels are awesome ahhhh ; - ; I remember when I use to do pixels years ago and struggled, I have no idea how pixel artist have the patience for all those little details. All of the poses in your example pieces are so dynamic too, you are really talented. Hopefully, one day I can commission a pixel piece from you!

their name is jaded star fishcatcher, a wood goddess
who is cursed to break people's hearts because when
she was seven or eight she stole a fairy's heart stone.
because of this she is depressed but still is kind to
everyone.

she is up for friends, enemies, adoptive children, or mate !
(note that if you choose mate they must be a strong kal that can get through a lot because
of her curse, curse may bring bad luck to friends.)

@jaded stone: such a gorgeous kal omg <3 i don’t have a kal to call my own yet, but best of luck finding relationships/friendships etc for her! i love the way the colors blend together, as well as those stunning heterochromatic eyes especially!

finally decided to involve myself with kalons, ive been pretty afraid of how big the community is but i figured it’d be nice to get to know the people around here and compliment the gorgeous kals~ (serious props to the artists, you guys rock!!) i haven’t entered many comps yet (and obviously haven’t won lol) but im really excited to start trying out for them and maybe eventually join the discord when im comfortable enough! everyone’s kals ive seen are so utterly beautiful, give them all virtual pats for me. <3

i also drew my first kalon, echos’s bab soren! he was super fun, even though im not the best at art yet haha. good practice for me though!
