Are any of your fursona's looks based on your own looks?

Of course. ^-^ I have brown eyes and sort of floppy hair similar to his ears. The umbrella he wears around his neck is modeled after the one I own, when I was designing Keeler I was thinking of something I could add that really reflects something strong about my personality, and while I was doing that I was also worrying over what the weather would be like 'cause I was going into town. Two and two went together and boom! Umbrella around the neck shows that I'm always preparing for the worst while putting a bit more of myself into my fursona, making me feel a little closer to him.

I was previously Schism, number four on the list. I've changed my fursona to a birdle named Lexley Josh Larson. No pic yet, because I made the species, so therefore I can't use someone else's lines. I suck at drawing lineart!

Edit!!!; I drew Ink by herself!!! It's kinda odd though cause she was a dog, now I drew her as a pony....

Do you have different fursonas for different stages in your lives?

Personally, I've had Zaphera since junior high, but now that I'm in college I feel like my personality is changing. I don't feel like getting rid of her or replacing her because I still take on that personality when I go visit my parents at home. I've half designed a new fursona that I draw continuously and she represents how I act here much better. I have more confidence about myself and I'm happier than I used to be, and so is this character. I feel sad about not drawing Zaphera so much, but I know that I need to make the transition to the new character because it doesn't feel right to change Zaphera's personality, and I know I've outgrown that personality that I used to have.
