I also got a piece of her and Rubix, one of the dogs at the kennel, practicing show stoof by Laureleaf

What do you do if someone approaches you and asks you to change a design/ character you really really love because they feel the design/colors are too close to theirs, regardless of whether or not you think they're completely different?
I would tell them politely that I would never change my character for such a silly coincidence.

This honestly depends. I had this happen once, though I was on the end of asking the other person. I honestly think, if they are clearly different or have very common ideas/designs that are used all the time, then you can not force them to change anything. If they are clearly the same or copied though with a complicated unique design that is not really coincidence to just randomly make, then whoever got the char/designed it first should get to keep them while the one whose was created last should have to change or give them up, or they should sort something else out to fix the problem.

Sorry, but no, not that I would really say right away. I prefer creating char relationships with close friends, that I talk to quite a bit.
