Speaking of mewtwo mega evaluations which ones your favorite? X or Y?

Personally I prefer mega mewtwo y. Partially because I really enjoy the look compared to x and because I don't really enjoy fighting types. Some of this might also be that mewtwo y was the pokemon I used the most when I first found out there was a mewtwo in the game. I caught it on my first try using an ultra ball, and decided it was going to become my new favorite pokemon.

yes, like everyone else I liked Mewtwo y the most. I can't believe you caught it on your first try!!! Some people take AGES. (then again I did catch Molltres on my first ultraball... ) I tried and then I immediately stopped, because I didn't have the patience!

I usually catch legendaries on my first try because I bring them down to one HP with False Swipe, then inflict sleep or paralysis. It makes them so much easier to catch. My Zangoose and Butterfree are the best legend catching duo. I also have a Haunter with Mean Look for catching Pokemon that flee on the first turn, but he's not as useful any more since fleeing legendaries have changed.

that's a good idea, I am going to research who can learn false swipes so I can FINALLY CATCH MEWTWO

I just use absol which can learn both false swipe and thunder wave (since sleep wears off). I know some people like to use Parasect as well (it can learn both false swipe and spore).

I never thought of using Absol before. It's a little bit stronger than Zangoose, I'd reckon, but I'm quite attached to my little guy~ And he's Lv 100, he's pretty strong so he can take on most things. Absol would be better for Mewtwo though, being a dark type. Mewtwo caused me all sorts of problems back in HeartGold and SoulSilver because it kept knocking out Zangoose >.<

I like Mega Charizard X more than Mega Charizard Y, too, but Mega Mewto Y looks "cuter" than Mega Mewto X, I don't like it much.

My Absol, Sheik, kept accidentally KOing Mewtwo with Night Slash... Luckily I managed to save before hand. He was suprisingly easy to catch. Zapdos, however... It was a different matter. I don't know why it took me so long...

@miezenminze, i don't know, i never like y's design, i first saw it and just thought... nope... so it wasn't really much competition in my eyes.

@ladysheik, my mewtwo took a few tries but i litterally caught my xerneas second attempt with 1 ultra ball. i just sat there like... "wait... what?". i was tempted to use my masterball on moltres but saved it for mewtwo but didn't end up using it on him either. i used it on zygarde in the end xD
