Favorite Anime: well I've only really watched Black Butler, Yuri on Ice!! and Fairy Tail BUT I LOVE FAIRY TAIL. I LIKE THAT EVERYONE IS JUST SO "normal" I also liked ep 49 and 50 where it made no sense. I am currently on ep 80/513 not including Dragon Cry or whatever. My favorite characters are Gray, Natsu and Juvia. Natsu is just like "yo." and Juvia is like "OH MY BELOVED GRAY" and Gray is just like always arguing with Natsu.
Favorite Manga: nothing I haven't read manga besides like one pokemon

welcome! it's nostalgic to see that your favorite anime is chobits, when i was younger i loved chobits. especially the story about the lonely people in the town, i wanted a book of that for myself! freya was my favorite. every time she popped up, there was that epic theme going on in the background.sorry i'm ranting lmao. nice to meet you!

Welcome!! I fell into the Fairy Tail fandom not too long ago actually. I did skip a bit on the first few episodes but I'm slowly going back to rewatch it.

Can I just go ahead and say something?

I realized that not many people here on this thread talk about childhood shows (Yugioh, Beyblade, Digimon, Sonic, Bakugon, etc) , and here I am rewatching all of them. I realize how much I love then and how easily I get obsessed with them.

Besides those "childhood" animes, I think my first anime I watched was Lucky Star. Then Fairytail, part of soul eater, Inu X Boku Secret Service, Madoka, Osomatsu-San, and Attack on Titan. I noticed that I don't obsess over these animes as much as the childhood animes. I may really get attached to them for a short period of time, but I get over it. I mean, I still really like Attack on Titan, and I still really talk about it tons, but like ?? I talk about childhood animes like Yugioh ALL THE TIME.

Like, it seems like I'm the type of person to marathon tons of animes, but in reality I haven't really watched a ton compared to many other users. I may talk about my 90's animes a lot, to make it seem like I am an all nighter that watches anime, but no - I don't watch many animes.

To me, I always seem to favor the old animes I've watched as a child. I always seem myself rewatching those same series. I will ALWAYS love those shows. I don't see many people talk about old shows, so I'm guessing that many don't rewatch them? I dunno why im like this when it comes to anime but I am.

I will be SHOCKED if anyone read this, sorry for the many words I'm so sorry.

Also just remember that Manjoume Jun in Yugioh GX deserves the world

@Konata., ahh Bakugan. Those were the good days when I didn't know what anime itself was. Literally, anime shows were what my 5 year old self would refer as "cartoons". I remember watching Pokemon and Powerpuff Girls Z nonstop too. shut up Powerpuff Girls Z was an anime

The first anime I watched knowing it was anime was Gokukoku no Brynhildr (It's by the same person who made Elfen Lied). It was in 5th grade, so I started out rough XD. Never did forget Bakugan and PGZ though. Pokemon was too repetitive for my taste back then -.-
