What is everyone's opinion on Angel Dragons? I've heard a few different opinions, but as my current main character is one, I wanted to know what other people on this thread thought

They are okay. I don't really care for them much though since way too many people use them. I personally have a DAD but I haven't used it for years. I'm just planning on giving them away soon. Most DADs are not thought out well. 50% of them have neon colors. 5% of them are edgy. For the other 45% percent, the actually look okay. I find it hard to make a DAD to look nice, and have only seen a few so far that have pulled it off. I prefer different species that are made by the creator and not taken from somebody else. Cats with spikes, canine ears, beak, pretty much what an original species looks like. DADs are so popular now that I just find their intense squeaking annoying. My favorite suits are ones with people who talk in them.

[im sorry if im being steryotypical, this is information from my experience.
so, im not going to lie. i love drawing furries. i would love love love to make my own fursuit and go have fun with myself.
but i feel alone. on social media, furries call me..different?
most of the furries i talk to are homosexual, trans, or other. they tell me they are shy, keep to themselves, have short hair, etc.
i feel really left out- im not any of those things. im just a straight teen girl, long hair, bright green eyes. im happy with being a girl, even if i only hang around guys ahah..
i may sound so so stupid right now, i just dont know what to do. i want to fit into the community, but i keep on getting left out since i am not what others are. i dont want to loose friends from dressing up and being proud. i just..argh!
can anyone please share their experiences? please please please and thank you <3

Haha I feel the same way, but not for the same reasons. I'm asexual, and being an a fandom that so many people sexualize is... Really tough. Especially when even your friends don't believe you can be a furry without the NSFW parts. So I totally get it. You just have to find even one other person you relate to. You'll feel better. It's hard, I know, but once you find one other person to talk to, it gets easier. Good luck.

sooo... I am a teenage girl and I have joinedd the furry fandom. (( I made a form for this place a while ago )) I have made my character and all and I feel like a furry. The only problem, my parents. They hate me being a furry. They hate furries. I asked my mom could I get at least the head of my character. I have €600. I said I can pay for it but she said this:
'Furrries are for gamers and are weird people. I don't want you to be walking around wearing an animal head on your head because you are a normal person and furries are not normal.'

The really sad thing is that anthrocon every year is on from very late June to early July. My bday is the 2nd of July, which means every year the furries are in anthrocon while I am sad at homme...

Can someone help me find a solution for me to be able to convince my parents that I can get a fur ey head?

Maybe show them something off the good side of the fandom ; pictures of fursuits, pictures of furry characters, etc? Try to explain that you'd only wear it in appropriate places ; home, conventions, maybe find something charitable around town that needs a fun character. AND WEIRD ISN'T BAD!

Note;; I can't get a suit or go to a convention either, because even though my parents are fine with furries....they'd never agree on paying for a fursuit or a convention. Oh well, I guess I'll just wait until I get the money myself.

I'm really sorry about that... I have the same issue (though I'm now in college) but wouldn't even be brave enough to bring it up. I don't have any advice that wasn't already mentioned above, just saying I'm sad to see someone with a similar predicament.
