Has anyone watched Your Name yet?
I saw the trailer and it looks quite interesting but I thought I'd get some opinions from you guys.

not as good as people made it out to be. it's only okay, not fantastic.

so super lovers 2 season 2 episode 1 is out
i watched the first season but never really liked it, but i might give season 2 a try

also i need some anime recommendations, so like maybe your guys' all time favorites. i like action, mystery, shounen-ai, and romance. so if any of those are included then i'd love to hear it c:

weird question: why do people like super lovers? not to be judgemental but it just makes me uncomfortable...

doukyuusei is good shounen ai and paranoia agent is good mystery

Paranoia Agent is amazing. It's more horror mystery than action mystery but it's really dang good

aaaagh i haven't posted here in some time!!

in relation to doukyuusei, i finally got the chance to see it about 3 days ago! i totally recommend it
for anyone seeking solely shounen-ai rather than flat out yaoi, as it's mainly cute fluff and contains
minimal mature themes. i thoroughly enjoyed the movie and i'm planning to dedicate it to my next
signature, in fact. i felt all the emotions were worthwhile in the end.

concerning upcoming anime, i'm looking forward to checking out kemono friends and zunda horizon
this year!

I just finished watching Kimi no na wa/Your name and oh my lord. That was a great movie. The art style is so nice and I loved the developement. The whole storyline was great and I got chills at some parts of the movie as the plot unravels. It's really something! It somehow felt like a mixture of Studio Ghibli and Your Lie in April mixed together. Probably just me. I love it!
I plan to watch another movie by Shinkai soon. It's called 5cm per second. Anyone watched it yet? I'd like to know your thoughts about it. ^^

hey there!

i've watched all of shinkai's works and i have to say that kimi no na wa is the only movie he's made where the plot/writing is as solid as the art. in 5cm per second and garden of words, the art is stunning but the characters are easily forgettable and the writing isn't all that brilliant. go ahead and watch them if you love watching movies with gorgeous art and slight feels.
5cm is pretty feelsy but nowhere close to kimi no na wa, in my opinion. garden of words is feelsy towards the end, but has a more mature outlook on a romance between two people with an age gap.

oh yeah, both garden of words and 5cm per second have ambiguous endings. kimi no na wa is the only one of shinkai's movies that have a pleasing ending that ties everything together, but that's just my outlook on it.

Hi there! ohmygod I see the Aoharu x Machinegun eeee

Ive never watched it (I did read it), but honestly I wouldnt recommend it if youre uncomfortable with edgy stuff, I guess. One of the main characters is an absolute psycho but I liked it somewhat since I'm okay with psychological animes/manga. The plotline is definitely interesting. That's a given.

KHR is one of my fav anime but elDLIVE is so boring that I can barely make it through the episodes

KHR started out slow but right from the beginning the characters were funny and likeable

but i literally hate the female protagonist of elDLIVE with my whole soul and the main boy is like if you removed all the likeable qualities from Tsuna and turned him into a boring turd of a character WHICH SHOULDNT BE POSSIBLE CONSIDERING HE HAS AN ALIEN GROWING OUT OF HIS CHEST?

this has got to be my biggest disappointment of the season because i love the character design especially Laine Brick but IDK maybe it'll pick up the pace later
