hello again everyone! how've you all been?
i'm way overdue for posting again but ahhhh i'm doing it now at least. it's just started but ahh i hope everyone is enjoying the summer event so far too! i adore the events this species had and i'm really excited for this one ahh, i know it's going to be incredible. thank you kal staff for putting together this splendid event and working so hard on it all <3333
i'm using my girl arianne this time round and i'm so excited to get to develop her some more and give her lots of love <3 i'm also hoping to get some items to beef up the standard myo i won in the anniversary raffle so i can make another concept I've been wanting awhile real
the geck goose bby is doing good too also at the moment she's been between the glass and a cork bark flat she found a way to get behind for a while so i am a tiny bit worried she'll never come out again, although i'm sure she will and i'm just being a worried mother

anyway eee, i've got a new kal i've been super excited to introduce to you all so here she is!
meet my girl amai! she's ridiculously special to me and i can't thank snowflakette enough for making her real <33 back when i joined kalons, i was going through a really hard time after losing the friend who had been closest to me at the time when one day they just stopped replying, and i had forgotten why i loved to write, until i began working on my entry for the nekomata kal, and was reminded of why. i didn't win, but the concept i had created still meant the world to me, so i saved up my HMs, earned some edits through events, and then asked snow to make her real, and now here she is. i'm really proud of earning everything for her myself, and so thankful to elyx for wanting to trade their glow edit for the natural mutation edit item i had won in kamp, and just ahhh i'm so happy, she's everything i ever dreamed of and more.
to summarize her story, it takes place in ancient japan, where she was once a normal kalon/cat, and she met a kind man at a temple. she began to change over the years, but where others grew fearful of her, he remained a friend, so when one day she arrived to the temple to see him after many years had gone by since she had last seen him, and he wasn't there, she broke, and burned the temple, and became trapped in it's ruin. i still need to edit and refine her story but if you'd like to read it in full her story is in her form! it's still one of the things i'm most proud of writing and i'm glad to finally have the full version up somewhere rather than the very cut version I admittedly hate.
i would absolutely adore some friends, enemies, or more (especially a love) for her! she does get out of the temple, around the time hareta and Tara's stories take place if that's any help.
