It might be a while before the nursery opens once again as most staff are busy with it being the holidays along with getting back into the swing of things. Please be patient with us.

Aw, i hope you find a new home for them. I'd try out but I'm already extremely close to the limit and I'm trying to save room to use a Twin tears potion on two of my babu's after the event & Gotcha opens up and see if I can fix one of their packing list.

That's alright, the holidays can be busy so it's understandable and there's no need to rush things.

Also two of my babu's got new looks thanks to the wonderful Lieutenant sparks below is the 20% more handsome looking Gen and Lector Noir with links to their info in the pics. Also on kinda a unrelated note, I have 11 babu's not counting my customs as they don't count towards the limit, that's just scary and shocking but in a god way. Anyone else shocked/amazed at how many babu's they have?

ANNOUCEMENT:

So, I know you guys arent dumb and you've noticed a huge abscence from me and Kyu. And the truth is neither of us think our lives are really going to permit time for Babusagis anymore. Kyu is going to be taking on a second job to pay for college, my degree's difficulty is only upwards from here, and honestly, it's no longer a stress relieving activity. (My only computer that could handle Oekaki also crapped out but that's a whole other thing)

So we're going to close Babusagis, we did consider handing the reins to Angel but honestly we're so attached to Babusagi that we don't want to let it run without us. We kinda considered leaving the nursery open and switching the customs to a model where artists can be paid in pets to get varying levels of customs but that would still take some regulation we can't provide.

So instead the compromise is this: Until February 5th, our one year anniversary, everyone can go buckwild.
Any design you've done up or have been thinking of can be posted up without approval, just go ahead!
Batches can be done for everyone! And for Babusagis out of slots, you get two whole bonus slots woaaah. And there's no cooldown!!! WOAAAH.
Been dying for an edit but no banana potion? Just go for it man.
Want a MYO? Why not.

Just have fun and celebrate what we were able to do rather than weep over what will be gone.

After all your community is still here! Your friends are here! The discord and fanclub are still here! Your Babusagi are still there!
Those connections are still there!!
We both love you all and consider you our friends.

After Feburary 5th Babusagi will close proper and any actions after those points will be unofficial which is bad because even though Babusagi is closing...

Although I haven't really be a huge part of the community, I do remember joining this one in August. I truly love this species and how orginal and cute it is. <3 You guys were the first adoptable community I've ever joined and I guess now is the time to say goodbye to new events and adopts. Now, I'm even more motivated to develop and cherish the beautiful babus I have. There's no use being sad though, let's enjoy the last (official) month of Babusagis <3

Thank you so much for Kyu and Livvy and all the staff for bringing this species to life, I've honestly never been so attached to adoptables until I met this adorable species ; v; <3

That being said, I'm very glad everyone gets to make their own design as the final blowout! Right now I'm just thinking of all those people who tried for being an artist here, all your fake Babus designed for artist search can now come to life !! That's such a happy thought when I think about it. c:

literally crying rn. i'mma miss you two so much!? you guys were literally the best. i love you guys and I hope you stay in good heath and perhaps return one day? cause i will totally will wait for you guys! idk about everyone else but i look up to you and ahh your just amazing. you totally made me feel welcome when i joined the community and i was extremely comfortable being here, i loved every event, every live stream and every babu! this is hands down my favorite species not only because they're so dang cute but also because of you guys! *hugs* i hope you both make it through your hardships and know that me and probably most of the community, will always be here for you. bye for now! :')
