hey everybody, I haven't posted in AGES but I'm done with college now & will have a lot more time...
Just popping in to say that I'm hoping to get back into the community more so I'll be re-introducing all my kals again in the hope of getting some relationships, maybe some friendships or romance?? But because I don't have time to type out something solid, I came here to ask a question for everybody to help with developing (& also to get me to think about all the kals I own and where I'm going to go with their character arcs)

all my developed kals have pretty fleshed out playlists because this is the way I go about developing everybody so here we gooo
Nelson - Five for Fighting - 100 Years
I first heard this song on an episode of Criminal Minds (??) and it captures the essence of Nelson's life by detailing the passing of time and changes in goals as you grow older. Nelson was a spy who eventually went blind & felt betrayed by his country, this song perfectly describes how time flies by and every period impacted your life...and ultimately its a positive song, every moment has something beautiful to teach you & life is valuable (much how Nelson learned)

Orube - Sia - Bird Set Free
Orube is an ex-assassin who was forced into that life out of desperation and manipulation. This song really delves into breaking free and finding your own voice (or the way I interpret it - your own meaning). I love the repetition of the line "I don't wanna die" because it strikes so close to home with what I feel for this character, she's ultimately afraid in the life of an assassin, despite how powerful taking life felt to her, and she didn't want to live this life. It's a very powerful song about breaking free, much like what Orube did.

Solitaire - Sting - Shape Of My Heart
Solitaire is a spy who grew up in a mafia family who owned a shady casino, this song is both a reference to her growing up with cards and the heaviness of the job she leads, even though her heart is much purer. In her youth she was a wild card with a reckless approach to life, disregarding its value, but as she ages she goes on to embrace her true heart, being much more emotionally deep and caring to others. This song is a very meaningful and sad song, describing a person whose heart doesn't match what they do with their life, which describes Solitaire quite well.

Ethan - Matt Dusk - Back In Town
He's also part of our spy team, gifted at hiding his true emotions and always changing who he presents himself as. First a dedicated solider, a loyal spy...he soon betrays his team and becomes a shady arms dealer who blackmails the government to keep himself from going to prison. This song extravagant, lavish, and quite narcissistic, the utter image Ethan presents to his business partners...but at the same time, it also highlights a love the singer has, even though he's afraid of commitment, much like the strong love Ethan has for Solitaire that no matter how hard he tries, he can't get away from.

Terry - Hope 7 - I want Everything
The medic for the spy team, Terry comes from a rich family and a past as a competitive figure-skater. Probably because of all those figure skating routines & warm-ups, her playlist is full of uplifting, cheesy music that you can find on a Disney Channel movie. This song brings me back to my own figure skating days, when I was younger, full of goals and wild dreams, as if I could achieve anything (with a good hard work montage). This song is EXACTLY what I just said above, and that's kinda who Terry is, a person who knows that everything will work-out, that she'll have a good career, find the love of her life, raise fantastic children who she can be proud of...if she works hard enough for it

Hunter - Darren Criss - Cough syrup
Engineer extraordinary, in love with Terry, and fearful of his magically-powered twin sister whose severally depended on him. This song describes his youth more then his present (as he's much happier nowadays) but this song describes how desperate he is to leave his town, to make a difference...but he's stopped by "cough syrup" that being his twin sister who he feels tied down by.

Nevermore - Billie Eilish - bury a friend
Hunter's twin sister, super powered and very unstable. She spontaneously creates portals into other dimensions and scary monsters escape from them and all too frequently try to kill her...however, with a wave of his hand Hunter can turn Nevermore's powers off which makes her heavily depended upon him for her own sanity. Nevermore goes on to learn to control her powers, but first they drive her crazy after Hunter abandons her to pursue higher education and a career. THIS SONG IS CREEPY, much like Nevermore is, she's nervous and this song puts me on edge...much Nevermore always is. It also highlights how Nevermore struggles with staying positive in life.

Samantha Rain - Luke Bryan - Most People Are Good
Country music for my country gal. Sam is positive, a hard worker, and she sees good things in people, much like this song states. She loves family and she loves the world.

Jacob Brown - Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know
Hard working ranch hand, horse trainer extraordinary, expert wilderness tracker, and totally secretly in love with Sam. He presents a very masculine font, but he's much softer then he lets on. He's pretty quick to cut people off and this song really shows a cold, lonely feeling mixed with a twing of regret, all super chill and not super passionate...much like Jacob is (I always see the chorus as his inner feelings bc they're more passionate, and everything else is what he lets on to others)

Relationships btw character songs
Hunter & Nevermore's relationship between each other is heavily based on the song evelyn, evelyn
Ethan & Solitaire's love is heavily based on Sia - Fire Meet Gasoline because they're both passionate, desperate for love & perfect for each other...even though they're love has volatile results for everybody, including the two of them



GENERAL RELATIONSHIP SEARCH
Before I introduce all my Kals in depth I'll tell y'all about the story arcs that I would love more kals to join & which characters are taken
SPY TEAM! - Most of my kals are involved in this one: Nelson, Orube, Solitaire, Ethan, Terry, Hunter, Nevermore, Lenny & Zia (basically a group of specialist spies who deal with supernatural people - think marvel)
Small town farm kids - Sam & Jacob (basically all kals living in a small town or work with animals or horses are welcome)
Not developed/solo character arcs - Cleo, Noura, Sila & Balthazar?? (all these characters are gonna get significantly revamped because currently they don't fit in anywhere)

All the gossippppp (whose dating who)
Nelson & Orube have an unspoken of romantic relationship
Solitaire & Ethan are very much in love but not in a committed relationship (although they are end game, ultimately)
Hunter & Terry are in a very loving relationship, their an OTP of mine honestly. Both will hopefully soon become parents bc they really want kids
Samantha Rain & Jacob Brown are childhood friends who will eventually be married, they love each other, but as high-schoolers rn, they're very much in denial about that and tell people their "just friends"
Zia - is mated to another users kal but idk if they still own their mate but for now I'm gonna assume she's mated

She’s a common by Magpie, kinda plain gray-brown but she has pretty hair. I tend to like soft pastel colored kalons and my favorite artists are whim, aey, silent siren, tealea, and Schnuffel bunny but I like all nice-looking kalons
Also will consider MYOs, mostly looking for common or uncommon but if you think Kailani could be worth more than heck I’d take a rare+ myo XD
