How often do you play video games?: At the moment, probably every few days... but that depends on the game, if I just bought a new one, etc.
What video game consoles do you own?: Wii, 3DS, PS1, PS2, and PS3.
Name some games that you own: Spyro the Dragon (every game except the Gameboy Advance ones), Pokémon White 1 and 2, Pokémon Soulsilver, Kingdom Hearts 1 (played more then just that one though), etc.
What genre of games do you prefer to play?: Oh, lots of different genres... RPG, roleplay, Action, Adventure, etc.(horror,action,etc.)
What is your favorite video game?: Spyro: Year of the Dragon (this is a very hard decision, but this game has a lot of memories for me so it has to be my favorite. <3)
Do you like cheese?: YES. *_*
Who's your favorite game character?: Spyro the Dragon! XP I love Pikachu too though, although he's more of an anime character tbh... I also love Sora!
Anything else you want to add?: Nope. :3

What video game consoles do you own?: Xbox 360 (though it's almost broken), Xbox One, Wii, Wii U, Playstation and Playstation 2, GameBoy Color, DS Lite, 3DS, both PC and Mac, and an iPhone if you want to count that.
Name some games that you own: Sims 3, Zoo Tycoon (the old one for PC c;), many many Pokemon games, Minecraft, Portal, Arkham games, To the Moon, Slender, Spyro games, Amnesia, etc etc etc
What genre of games do you prefer to play?: Hmm. . . I could never choose just one. I love most all genres.
What is your favorite video game?: Don't make me choose ; n ; Maybe Kingdom Hearts? The original.
Do you like cheese?: Yep.
Who's your favorite game character?: GLaDOS (unless the companion cube counts, then that's my favorite. c:)

Have you ever brought a game, enjoyed it, then realize that game was universally panned? Because I've had that experience. A while ago, I wanted to get into Spyro, but I had no idea what the fanbase looked like, so I decided to buy a PS2 and the first game I chose was Enter the Dragonfly. A few days later, I looked it up on TV Tropes, and... ;-; I haven't played it since, I'm considering selling my PS2 now, but I don't want to sell something purely because of an unenthusiastically-written wiki page. Then again, I had problems with that game beforehand, but I amounted those to it being old more than anything... not to mention I stopped playing my other PS2 game, The Sims 2, of my own accord.
Please don't eat me. ;-;

Yeah, I've had that happen to me with one of my games before. I think it was Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness for the PS2? It's okay, I understand why you'd stop playing your games like that xD On my side with my game I didn't really care much what others thought: If I enjoyed the game, then I think it's worth my time. This game constantly gets negative criticism and I can see where work could be done, but this is an old game anyways and the technology was still advancing?

I kind of was already frustrated that the game kept randomly doing this weird camera thing, but I thought that was because the controller was broken. (And some of my controllers sort of were, because the X button [or whatever the "accept" button is on Sony systems] didn't work)
Not to mention that there aren't many PS2 games that interest me. (Okami is one PS2 game that does interest me, but because it's kind of based on mythology I'm worried I'll receive a theological lecture from a relative if I try to buy it. Don't ask. Also, the PS2 version probably has terrible controls, and I can't find it on Wii anywhere.)

My game did that a lot, which helps fuel hate from other people. xD It's not too hard to get used to. Thinking about my controllers, most of my ps1 and 2 controllers are broken now, except for a white ps1 controller and my black ps2 controller (But the wires are exposed at the base of the controller, so it might not last long) but they still work really well, surprisingly, if you don't include the loose analog stick problem that occurs sometimes. uvu I never really push myself to try many new games either, so I just kind of stick to three or four game series' for my Playstation 2 and 1.

Oh, the PS2. So many flaws. Mine has a very hard time reading discs nowadays, and one of my controllers pretty much stopped working altogether.
I might've given up on it if I didn't love the games for it so much.
As for Okami: I only ever played it on PS2 once, but I didn't have any problems with the controls. If you're interested in it, you should go ahead and try it out.
And about Enter the Dragonfly: enjoy it for what it is, no matter what others say. I loved that game, and while I find it hard to look past it's flaws now, I can only ever have fun playing it if I do. And when I do, I have lots of fun. It's really an attitude thing: if you focus on every thing wrong with it and not the things you're having fun doing, it's hard to enjoy the game you're playing. (life lessons from Downn woop woop)

Anyone play Skyrim? I've been wanting to play it for at least a year now and I just realized that my brother already had it downloaded to the Xbox.
So I've pretty much been playing nonstop.

Welcome to the internet. Skyrim is amazing. Not as good as Oblivion mind you, but still amazing. Oblivion's got a deeper storyline where Skyrim has better graphics in my opinion. Also Shivering Isles. Skyrim will never compare to that.
I've been meaning to get back into it but my 3DS's hold on me is too strong. My children and husband can wait another day...
