I've changed it now. Are there any huge changes since I was last here? I've just finished reading the first posts of the front page, but I'm wondering if there's anything else, since it has been over three years haha.

hi joy, welcome back!! not sure if you remember me, but i was also a part of cac in 2017 before leaving for almost 3 years. now aspenclan and I are back and here to stay.
there have been a lot of really cool additions, like a cac store, gathering studs, and probably more than i'm forgetting. probably the biggest and my personal favorite change has been the addition of custom cac lineart!!

@Joy: Hoo boy! 😅 So biggest thing is that we now have lineart and an artist team—in order to make things both more realistic and unique, we give out cats made on lineart after a player’s fifth post. Pheasantnose is an example of these cats! We also have hard mode, an optional method of playing where life is made harder for your clan. We’ve updated various rules and gameplay things so give the front page a thorough read through. Also, please check out CS’s new rules regarding writing. That’s all I can think of for now. @mods and other players - What have I missed?

@Simonpet: yeah I noticed the lineart, everyone is really talented! I remember back when we were told off by a mod (maybe even you lol, 13 year old me was pissed) for using wiki art and we had to change to photos. Hard mode sounds interesting but way too difficult for me rn. I'll go check those new rules now.

@I’m Joy to add on to what simon said, there are many different linearts. feel free to look through chessclan, my large clan, because i think i have cats on most of the linearts there. also, v5 is coming soon and i know some things will happen there! i believe at page 450 is when v5 will be revealed! i would like to welcome you back!
