theyre open to use, and they come with sweaters/clothings!



Other then that, im looking for offers for these adopts! mostly looking for Character trades, but also open to points & Art offers

Tuesday I finished up a realistic painting of Palmer - it took 6+ hours and I'm super proud of it -

Do you have a goal with your oc's? Or an oc 'wishlist' of sorts? This can range from a wishlist detailing what you want to accomplish with your oc's to what sort of art you want for them.
I want to get them all at least 20 art pieces some day.
Who was your first oc? Do you still have them? Are there still feelings attached to that character and have you continued their development? If you no longer have them, do you regret letting go of them?
Basil <3 Yep, I still have him, and he's absolutely amazing.
Who is your current favourite oc? Why are they your favourite?
Probably Basil. Basil is always my favorite. He just makes me so happy thinking about his adventures.
Who is your most well liked oc? Why do you think other people like this oc?
Um. Basil would work for this, too, I guess. I think people just like his personality, but I'm not sure.
How did you get into the oc community? What attracted you to it? Are you still in it for the same reasons?
I joined this thread when I had about 7 or so characters and you guys convinced me that this was an awesome thing to be doing.

Definitely!

How do you go about developing your oc's? Do you create character quizzes, sketch, construct bio's and look for critique?
I just think up some ideas and slowly add more details, basically. I also like doing some random character sketches.

Do you only display art that you feels best represents your character or do you sometimes leave work up in an oc gallery even if it doesn't properly capture your oc's character? Are you picky with art work?
I always put in all their art, even if it looks a bit strange. I'm not picky in the slightest XD

When ordering art, do you try and find artists who can capture a story? If so, show us some illustrative pieces of your oc's!
Sometimes if I find a good artist who can do that I'll get art like that. Some examples below?

no dreamies; but, i do think this ones a cutie!

To what extent can a character be revamped before you should just claim the design as your own?
if i revamp a character beyond recognition of the initial design i still give credit to the original designer even if i just say it is "inspired by."

Sphinxes are adorable! Love the wrinkles and they have such friendly dispositions. Hard not to love the lil guys.

You should always credit the original designer, but maybe tag on "with heavy edits by me" after a certain point or "with small edits by me." Its fine to want to credit yourself but unless you create a new design from scratch, Id credit the original creator as well.

I have to like the oc Im trading for of course, and then I just...generally trade for an oc I feel Id use more?
An overall fair deal is nice but for the right oc I might overpay.

I kinda only have it going for Béla with pretty much any song by The Neighbourhood... a lot of their songs relate to his character so it just sort of fit i guess!

This is Meredith! She's super sensitive and her eye is always covered by the "Mare-fro." Her pearls on her necklace shatter when she gets too upset, but they come back as soon as she's feeling better. That makes it impossible to hide her emotions.
