The game and it's features are very much still in development. There's a number of things that simply just don't work yet like the tracking system, the battery saver .etc so far only a few minor bugs have been fixed but it seems like Niantic have got a lot of work to do. Plus the other features they want to add soon (live battling, trading .etc)

I have the app on the battery saver setting, and now when I put my phone in my pocket and it tips upsides own it turns the screen dark but the app still runs to conserve battery power. I guess it's like a bug, but every once in a while while I flip it back up and the screens lights back up I still can't click anything, like it's unresponsive and I have to restart the app. Today it did that when the egg popped up. Ugh. I also got no Pokemon and the egg disappeared. 5k. Down the drain. Grrrrrrr!!!!

The same thing happened to me a couple of days ago. I haven't used battery saver since haha. I'll just stick to using the low power mode my phone already has.

Urgh, hate that the screen freezes with battery saver mode :( but on a happier not, went to the beach today and got:

•squirtle
•voltorb
•magikarp…

and… a 343 CP HAUNTER!!!!! (he took literally all of my pokeballs but one .-.)
