Illiterate to Literate [closed - new instructors hired!]

What You'd Like Help With: becoming more literate, developing a better vocabulary, going into more detail, creating forms... let's just say I could use all the help I can get. d:

Preferred Instructor: Smamm or abandoned. are fine with me!

Activity or Time Zone: I live in Mississippi, so I'm located in the Central timezone. However, I am in school from 8 am - 4 pm CST, then I'm online throughout the afternoon until 12 am.

Sample of Writing:

I only wished I could sleep in late like I wanted to on a day like this. The last couple of nights had been spent living it up with the guys, celebrating before we went on our nationwide tour, and it had all decided to hit me last night. I'd slept for a good ten, eleven hours in an uncomfortable bed in a hotel room, but I felt like I could sleep even longer. However, Jackson had us out of bed at noon so we could prepare for our first gig of the tour. This was a big day for all of us, and we had quite a bit to do if we wanted tonight to start us off with a big bang.

After a few cups of coffee to kickstart my system and a light breakfast courtesy of room service (and a couple of hours of getting our s**t together that we'd somehow scattered around the room), Jackson had us checked out of the hotel and on the tour bus that we would be living in for the next few months. Sure, it wasn't the absolute best, but it was more than enough for four males that would be perfectly content living in a rathole. It beat driving around in Matt's car, with a trailer hooked to the back for our instruments, from place to place. Anyway, we'd get dressed and whatnot when we got to the venue, before sound check. Wait a second... when was sound check again?

Luckily, Jeremy blurted out the very question on my mind. "Yo, Jackson! When are we due for sound check?" We all heard something along the lines of seven o'clock, and then we were finally off on a four-hour drive to our destination.

It was about five pm when we arrived at the back of the building, and already, there was a line starting to form out front. Mostly kids our age, but there were a few younger and older ones scattered throughout the line. It warmed my heart a little to see that people were waiting in line to see... well, my best friends and me. Before I could drown myself in my thoughts, I felt a firm hand clap on my shoulder, and Zach was looking at me, all bright brown eyes and a matching grin. "C'mon, Li, get pumped! It's our first show of the tour; we've gotta bring it!"

A half-grin crept to my lips as I got to my feet and replied, "Yeah, man, I know. I'm just as excited as you, don't worry. I just... don't show it as much. You should know that by now." The four of us filed out of the bus and through the back door of the venue, Jackson was already in the dressing room, no doubt a little peeved at us for taking a little longer than he'd have liked us to, but he didn't look much like it when we opened the door without many people noticing our arrival. The bouncers were definitely doing their jobs.

What You'd Like Help With: Just some critque, and making myself litterate.
Preferred Instructor: Smamm
Activity or Time Zone: Arizona time (we stand alone, switching between pacific and mountain. right now we are pacific, I believe)
Sample of Writing: Evangeline was stuck between a rock and a hard place. She had nowhere else to go: it was either here, at the orphanage for whoever knows how much longer, or the streets, where she would be unsafe and alone. Gigi stepped back from the door, deciding where se should stay, at the orphanage. Maybe, one day, people would look past her, eh, issues, and see herself, hiding inside of her.

I am on quite a bit, sometimes i'm on late at night, but i live in the GMT timezone. But i don't mind waiting to replies, so a person from any timezone would do.
Sample of Writing:
"No, what i meant was that i have lived in America for about three years now." Faith replied. "My parents sent me because they think i'm not normal. They think that a boarding school will straighten me out." She looked at the cake. She put a bit on her fork and had a taste of it. "I don't think they're any nuts in it!" She said, looking at Riley. She turned back to look at her own plate. The choclate cake didn't look so good as it did a minute ago. There was always a lyric in a song that reminded her what had happened, and the feelings she got daily. 'Forever hold this heart that I will give to you. Forever I will live for you' She heard. That was one of them, where she just couldn't forget the feelings she got. She fought back the urge to just walk out. She knew it wouldn't do her any good if she did that. But she knew people thought she had issues. She haddn't talked to them for long; yet she knew what they thought of her. "Come on Faith. You're not what they think. Just block it out and carry on. You know as they say; Keep Clam And Carry On." She thought. She took her hair out of it's butterfly clip; and she put it back in it.
