While we are on the subject of Fursonas:

Ok, so Torsnin, my fursona in my sig, has had alot of heated arguments about her.

Manny claim that she "Isn't a bobcat, but just a mere wolf"
She never came with a species, and I wanted a bobcat.

So, is it fair for people to be trying to moderate my choice of Furrie Species?

If so, why?

Well, I, personally, believe it is ridiculous that someone would question the species of your fursona, when you clearly stated it is a bobcat. I don't believe it is fair, because she is your fursona. Not any elses. Perhaps if they had her, they could make her species a wolf, but since you have her, she is a bobcat.

I was thinking the same thing. I adopted Torsnin, and the species just kinda clicked. One of my argument replies was:

She never looked like a Wolf to me. Her looks, and stature, matched more to the Bobcat than anything. I respect your oppinion, but please, respect my choice in species for my own fursona.

Their reply was just ranting and crying, saying that I was "Being rude" and "Opinions are not being respected"

You weren't being rude at all, it seems. And you respected the opinion given, as well, but used information to support your own side of the story.

So, I think you gave the better argument. You provided references, and you were not rude. You said please, as well, which I don't understand why the person arguing didn't just drop it at that point?

I'm not sure. I don't think I want a wolf because they are really common. Maybe a rabbit?

I don't see rabbits that much, so that would be a good idea ^^ And you're right, wolves are very common in fursonas. Same with cats (Like my fursona .w.)

I picked a species that was close to a wolf, so that way I could get lineart color-ins. Meeko is a fennec fox but she fits into most wolf linearts.

@stormiecrazy: I don't think anyone will understand why they just kept it up. I understand that they had also tried out for her, but it was no reason to get sore about it. Sure, its upsetting when you lose on a charicter/design, but dragging it out and crying was no way for them to handle loss.

But yeah, i dunno. I guess what they want to do will be mostly of their business. I stopped replying after being accused of being "rude", so.
