Do you only display art that you feels best represents your character or do you sometimes leave work up in an oc gallery even if it doesn't properly capture your oc's character? Are you picky with art work?I have a bunch of websites to solve that problem! One for a general art gallery, and another focusing more on bios and development, and it's on that site where I place art that I reallly feels captures their essence(mainly customs), and that means not much art gets displayed there after all XD
When ordering art, do you try and find artists who can capture a story? If so, show us some illustrative pieces of your oc's!Not so much story, but emotion, I love when an artist can make what a character is feeling so vivid.
This piece is one of my favourites as it captures the character so well, up to the tips of the whispy brushstrokes, it really gives her a regal air
What draws you in to a character design? What are particular things that attract you? Does quality matter, or is it all about connection?Quality is huge for me, and it's a plus if I can see the ref and easily imagine how the character's personality is like!
How important to you is it that your oc's are well liked by others? Are they public at all, or do you keep most of their bio information private?They are semi-public? One of my sites I post public, my galleries are secret so no one can claim to own the character and sell it for a ton of money saying "look at all the art!!" which has happened before XD it's always nice to have a likeable character, in the end my final train of thought is "if this character was in a show or video game, would people want to know more about them?"
What is the main purpose of your oc's? Are they for role-play? Models to be used in art collecting, or do you like developing lengthy backstories? Tell us why you collect oc's to begin with.A lot of reasons, I love to world build, and all my ocs exist in the same universe, so each time I get one, I fit in in somehow into the general lore. I love having them interact with others and some even have jobs and shops. I don't roleplay anymore since my rp partner imploded or something, but that was also a fun way to develop them.
What do you plan on doing with your oc's in the future? How do you feel they fit into your future?I really, really want to do something with them one day, not sure what, but I don't want them to just hide forever!
How do you go about developing your oc's? Do you create character quizzes, sketch, construct bio's and look for critique?Mostly sketching, but I do love writing and re-writing bios over and over again XD I like to draw interaction scenes or even finding quotes that help you get a feel for their personalities. I also like finding songs for them, just a collection of music that gives the general "atmosphere" that surround the character, if you will. ^^
Do you have a goal with your oc's? Or an oc 'wishlist' of sorts? This can range from a wishlist detailing what you want to accomplish with your oc's to what sort of art you want for them.I really only put goals for the amount of art I'd like them to have, other than that I occasionally make goals on what artist I want to get art of them from?
Who was your first oc? Do you still have them? Are there still feelings attached to that character and have you continued their development? If you no longer have them, do you regret letting go of them?It was a crash Bandicoot ripoff I made when I was about 8 years old, and he kept evolving and is now Kiaze XD

She is so amazingly fun to color, and full of zest! I absolutely adore tough girls, and she is just perfect<3 thouuugh the ref doesn't necessarily show that XD
Who is your most well liked oc? Why do you think other people like this oc?Sargea lot of people have him on their dream character list, have told me upfront, and also got voted best canine on furry-paws, it was such an adorable event XD
How did you get into the oc community? What attracted you to it? Are you still in it for the same reasons?I just wanted stuff to draw basically, stuff I owned XD It's changed a little bit in that I want to really go deeper on stories and really am much more careful on what I get now.
