looking for harsh critics of a tryout form

hey guys, i've got some tough competition for viscet 777, and that links to my form. if someone could, please pm me about it because i would like some harsh critics (about anything. vocabulary, what to change in art, layout, grammar *ple as e*, etc) that arent sugarcoating anything so i can get this a lot better.

How do you decide whether or not you should keep a character? When do you know that it's time to let go?
If I can't develop them then its time to let go.

PFF. Currently, I actually have no idea how to answer this. I have several ocs that I feel this way too but they are developed and have loads of art and can't separate from them. I would guess you could put them up to readoption and then see the energy and compassion others have for it? If I see that someone wants something a lot I usually have a desire to give it to them!

How do you revive old sparks with characters that you no longer love?
Change their personality completely. Give them new bonds with new characters. Give them new items and perhaps shift their hue?

I assess how much I like their design/personality. When I decide I'm never going to draw them again.

I usually don't XD I really just keep them in storage.

It depends on how much I've developed the character, if they only have like one piece of art and Im not really into them I know its to to let them go.

I think how Im practically just hoarding them and then I feel bad and decide I should try trading them or selling to a good owner

Usually when i've come to a close with their story. I've played out all situations in my head, or I just? have no ideas left to use with them. I don't give up charas often, usually i keep them for years before i'll part with them.

I gather an emotional connection to most any character i own at any time ,really, usually if i want to get rid of them due to lack of time, i convince myself they'd just be better cared for elsewhere,with someone else

Revamp their designs, or add a new 'chapter' to their stories.

If I lost connection to both the design and personality/history. Sometimes I try to revamp the design or re-create the history to get myself connected to the character, but sometimes that doesn't work for me so I give them up... :<

aHHhh, I'm actually doing this right now. TBH it's very hard to do this, but I tell myself that the character is going to a new owner where they will be greatly loved and taken care of. It's not the best way, but it works for me.

I've never actually done this, but you can always revamp the design if you're not a fan of the design! Or (this is what I do) you can re-create their history/personality- give them a clean slate and start over. I think, I've re-created a couple of my character's histories at least 2-3 times.
