If I saw a Dalek, I'd look for the nearest flight of stairs, and then find a police box.
Although for some reason, I find the daleks' voices quite amusing. "We would destroy the cybermen with ONE dalek!"

XD I saw that too!!!! Lol, Daleks can't climb stairs. And they think THEY'RE the superior ones xD

Can't Daleks levitate, though?

I imagine such a thing would at least slow them down, though, right?

^^I would certainly hope so!!

Heh, I've gotten into a bad habit of talking with a British accent when I'm all fangirl crazy xD.

Me and this guy in one of my classes are assigned to sit next to each other two classes in a row. I watch Doctor Who on Netflix, he watches Stargate. Does anyone else see the problems this might create? One time we spent the whole class period "discussing" which one was better. (I won, of course!) I said "Bowties are cool." in class one time and he just HAD to say some weird Stargate thing back. Onetime he even said (and I quote) "You know, I saw Doctor Who in the suggestions to watch on Netflix."
Me: Oh really? Did you watch it?
Him: Nope, I didn't feel like it. Plus, I think its too British.
Me: *wth face* What?!
/end of weirdness

Rai-kun: Yup, I'll be gone for a while, guys. Ya know, movin' and all. :/ I might be back on after high school settles down, but we'll just have to see how everything pans out!

I know how you feel. I'm in a school where everyone is either Stargate crazy or Star Trek crazy. I like Star Trek, but I get quite defensive when they all start hitting on Doctor Who.

I have two IRL friends who watch DW, but the majority- as well as my family- don't know what the heck I'm talking about. My two friends who do watch know quite a bit more than me, but they both prefer Nine and Ten, and don't understand my weird fascination with Eleven.

Does anyone else find that BBC only plays Doctor Who at 1 in the morning, or a simalar time? That's the problem I'm having currently. I mean, it's not like it's a no-longer-being-produced show, it's still running.

Yeah, it's on at 3 in the morning for me. Happy Fiftieth Anniversary for Doctor Who! Fish fingers and custard for everyone!

I'm going out to eat with my parents for lunch and I just got permission to ask for fish fingers and custard!

Since 1988.

Aww, that was before my time though! (I was like a toddler at that time xD)

Dales levitate in New Who season 1, as revealed in episode 1.6, 'Dalek'. They have continued soaring about through the whole new series. That is not before your time.

:O Lucky! My parents won't let me try that! Have any of ya'll ever heard of Chameleon Circuit? It's a band that writes songs entirely about Doctor Who. XD
