Oh, my. I love Dead Island & Riptide to death. They're such good games, and may I say it's gotten a few jump scares out of me. I absolutely cannot wait for Dead Island 2 in summer 2015. It's going to take place in California, and it's looking amazing already.

But yes, it's awesome and expansive, and you'll love it.

a friend gifted me the game from stream xD i need some friends to do co-op with me xD i used to own the game on xbox but i lost it. pretty keen to play it on pc. soon enough i might get riptide and sometime in 2015-16 i might get dead island 2

I played both on Xbox, the first one by myself, (I was hella creeped out in the resort and the jungle cx) and then I played Riptide with friends. It's a lot of fun either way! Like with any multiplayer game, it's kinda risky playing with strangers, but it's always worth a shot to say the least ^^
If you're a zombie fan, the art and mechanics are something you're going to love— and some of the side characters might depress you, but it's the apocalypse so it's expected.

i never got to even play riptide. but i seen heaps of let's plays and it looks good. i used to be really disapointed with it due to the trailers and stuff.
