wrote a lot for my last post the other night! any thoughts on it so far? because tbh i dont like it haha

    "- From this day onward this young tom will be known as Firestream, for his adept swimming prowess and love for the water." The newly named warrior didn't bother to hide the ecstatic smile on his face as he stared at his leader, green eyes shining like two suns as Mintstar mewed the rest of the ceremony before calling the meeting to an end. Firestream barely had time to move before his mother barreled into him, covering his face with licks and nuzzles while the young tom took in all in stride. After a while Daisystorm finally pulled back, her own happiness mirrored his own as she purred in pleasure. "I'm so proud of you!" She exclaimed before becoming silent, both mother and son staring at each other for a fw heartbeats before Daisystorm's eyes began to water.

    "M-Mama? You okay?" Firestream asked in concern, his eyes starting to water too as he witnessed his own mother begin to cry. This sort of reaction was normal for the both of them, stemming from the close bond the two shared over many long moons of toil and heartbreak before they joined PineClan, they were so close that whatever emotion one felt the other would react in the same way regardless of their own feelings. "I-I'm just so happy, you made it.. out of everyone, you r-really made it." She mewed quietly, the first tear falling as she held Firestream close to her and cried softly into his fur. The ginger tabby's eyes widened in realization as he knew she was referring to everyone else in their family that they lost along the way and that thought alone also drew him to tears.

    The two cried with each other in the middle of the clearing, choosing not to care about the concerned looks their Clanmates gave them as they both expressed their emotions.

    Dusk had fallen, though it wasn't dark enough to be considered nightfall now, so that meant the newly named warrior had plenty of time to spend with his friends before he had to stand silent throughout the whole night for his first vigil. Firestream padded towards his group underneath the Great Oak, where Juniperpelt chattering loudly and Acornclaw responded just as enthusiastically while Orchidnose and Ratnose nodded from time to time and Egrettail stood to the side batting a pine cone between his front paws absentmindedly. "Hey guys!" He mewed, causing Egrettail to let out a strangled gasp before throwing the pine cone to the side before staring anywhere else that wasn't Firestream.

    He had to admit, he was still a little hurt that the white tom was still avoiding him even though they were the same rank now, but he supposed that hadn't changed when they were still apprentices either. Firestream suppressed a sigh before laying down besides his best friend Ratnose, unaware of the jealous gaze that Egrettail sent to the both of them before staring at his paws again with a defeated sigh. "Congratulations, Firestream. I knew you could do it." Ratnose mewed to him, murmurs of agreement coming from the rest of the friend group.

    "It'll be nice to share a den again."
    "And it'll be easier to try and sneak bugs into Comfreyfang and Duckfoot's nests now."
    "I know a certain someone will be happy sharing a nest with you."

    Firestream's ears perked up interest at Juniperpelt's statement, the gray-and-white tom had a playful smirk on his face while both his siblings cast him disapproving looks. Egrettail in particular looked the most offended, his back fur sticking up in agitation and from the way it rose further as he and Firestream exchanged looks. "I-I-I have to go! I don't t-think that squirrel agreed with me." He mewed, quickly rising to his paws to escape the scene and hide in the warriors' den. "You didn't eat a squirrel! It was a mouse you mousebrain!" Juniperpelt mewed after him, rolling his eyes as his brother paid no mind to him as he directed his attention back to everyone else, a frown on his muzzle as he noticed the disappointment on Firestream's face.

Not bad! A couple sentences are really long though, kinds makes it drag. ("the newly made warrior" etc and "Firestream padded towards his group" etc) But otherwise I liked it!

@deimos, I actually really liked it. Egret x Fire, I'm gonna be looking out for that a lot more now~ It's cute their reactions to each other. I also agree that a few sentences drag but other wise I think it's good.

I just posted a small, kind of filler for Soulclan, focusing on building the relationship between my medicine cats, since Hearthflame didn't want to mentor anyone. Any feedback. Oh! And who's haunting Cinderblaze?

“Small” you say? I don’t think the dictionary quite agrees with your definition of that word haha. But man I loved your last post. I remember you mentioning Catnip Fields and a certain little someone’s love for berries and lemme tell you, the way it came out was beautiful. I especially loved the moment of silence- it’s a really good look into Hearth’s character. Just in general really, well, adorable! But then Cinderblaze, aaa Cinderblaze! At least she has her brother there with her. For all the angst I have to agree that in comparison, definitely a breather. But I swear if that Sssssassafras lays one paw on her I will personally send her to the moon.

it's november 1st where i am now (oh god two more months 'till 2018), but i hope everyone had a happy halloween! (or if you don't celebrate it, i hope yall had a good day) i havent gone treat-or-treating in forever so it was just an average day for me. however i stole too much candy from what my little sibling and nephew got while candy gathering and now my stomach hurts haha ouch

@krazykitty00 - i'll definitely have to revise it then haha, thanks kitty! evidently writing at three in the morning isn't exactly the best thing to do? lol - and i'm glad you like what i have for egret/fire so far! honestly i was toying with the idea of having egret get involved with a forbidden romance since both his siblings are but i decided not to take that route. it's gonna be fun to write more of though! egrettail being the awkward, flighty cat crushing on the confident and carefree firestream; he already doesnt think he has a chance as fire and ratnose are both p close. and rat's the complete opposite of what he is haha. oh god i got really carried away writing that now as for your post! honestly after the turmoil of everything in your last the moment in the catnip fields w/ hearth & silver was real refreshing, to see them bond was rather nice amidst everything else going on in soulclan atm (theyre gonna need to keep each other grounded given the next chapter in SC's book haha) and aaah.. cinderblaze and cypressdawn are so heartwarming, i love them both to pieces. (i agree with hazil, if she-who-must-not-be-named hurts cinder im throwin' hands)

@hazilnut - aaah i'm happy you like fire/egret too~ and yes, writing for all my neglected characters has been real refreshing haha, it's nice to explore all my neglected characters backstories and personalities. :>

This only color visible, as if there was no such thing as color, or light for that matter, it looked as if there was not even a floor, or anything else, just a void, a lonely, empty, dreamless void or complete nothingness. It seemed as if not even a cat could dream this, as a dream or a nightmare. It was awfully quite hear, as if you couldn't hear a single thing, not even if you tried. Final line, there was nothing here, a normal, sane, person would just, not even be here. It theoretically not even be possible for anything to be here. A place void of emotions, sounds, feeling, or thoughts.

Yet there was someone here anyway, the cat, barely visible in the emptiness of the void, due to the darkness, nothing much could be defined of the cat, only that the barely visible figure stood up quietly, the sounds caused from it echoing around, as if the place had walls in this infinite void of complete shadow and darkness. The cat glanced around, shockingly taking in the colorless world, that she found herself in. Calling out softly,  "Hello? What is this place." Knowing perfectly well that this wasn't Starclan, or anyplace really.

The answer she got was terrifying in the least, as the void slowly turned visible, tinting itself red, leaving large deep blood red outlines in the shapes of nightmares, they seemed to be saying something, it wasn't audible in the void though, the cat desperately tried to yell out for anything other than these nightmares. However the only thing that came was a seemingly blank eyed cat, with a deep blood red outline, though he seemed familier. The grey and white tuxedo cat, seeming laughed quietly, and just before everything went away to fade out back to the dreamless void, he ended with one speech.
"Good luck.. "


And yes, this is a nightmare

Thanks for reading my post. Hearthflame and Silverpaw are definitely going to need each other. But, that's only if my boy doesn't go into seclusion over losing all thats he's been giving. He's gonna think the world is trying to keep him isolated. *cough * there may be one tom who can make him feel better~ *cough cough*

@hazilnut, it was small! Did I write too much? Lol, yea, it was the best way to introduce Silver's love for berries. Soon I will advance it into something worth a full name~♡ And yes, Hearthflame is simply put, adorable.

@hazilnut + @deimos, you guys are mad at the nameless one now, just wait until the next post~ Our favorite Shady Mollies have plans for the next post I tell you. Things shall go down!
