♥ @Dinolil1 - I really like that idea. I think the prophecy will be even more meaningful if the threat was Sparrowstar's son/daughter since Sparrowstar will probably never suspected their own flesh and blood to be the 'snake'.

@Grey_Hoodie - what I was thinking of the conflict was that maybe once the cats figure out that the 'snake' has been lying to them for their own benefit, they lose all trust in each other and basically have a whole bunch of arguments. maybe even some physical fights here and there. and when the clan is close to breaking apart and going their own ways due to all the arguments and lies, that's when the 'savior' comes in and tries to keep the clan together.

and I really like the mongoose one. since it sounds like the kittypet and the 'snake' will have a final battle but then again, I don't know since kittypets don't normally know how to fight, at least last time I checked but that could have changed. ♥

@♥ Owl ♥, Kittypets don't typically know how to fight, but I think it'll depend on what you want to do. The kittypet could physically fight, but they could also get the clan back to trusting each other again and have the clan turn on the snake.

@Grey_Hoodie - I think it will be more of a chance of them getting the clan to trust each other again and turn them against the 'snake' than them fighting the 'snake' themselves. plus picture Sparrowstar fighting his own child. I think that will be a epic scene if you ask me. ♥

dreams in smoke,
life in fire.
sanity in tatters,
one less survivor.

heres the info on roles uwu .

dreams in smoke: apprentice, must have the prefix 'smoke'. niece/nephew of 'sanity'. can create a smoke/fog shield.
life in fire: apprentice, must have the prefix 'fire'. niece/nephew of 'sanity'. ability to summon small fires.
sanity in tatters: must have an important role (leader, med cat or deputy). uncle of 'smoke' and 'fire'.
one less survivor: queen or warrior, must be she-cat, mother of 'smoke' and 'fire', sister to 'sanity'.
SHE WILL DIE.
traitor: kills 'survivor', drives 'sanity' insane, will be killed by 'smoke' and 'fire'. can suck light out of a small amount of space.
THEY WILL DIE.

basically, sanity is driven mad by the prophecy that they receive, smoke and fire are born to survivor, traitor kills survivor, smoke and fire kill traitor, which brings sanity out of their madness.

@p-lasticplants, I like the sound of it. The way that I read the prophecy (without looking to your explanation first) made me think that the clan would expect a hero out of Smoke but would really be saved by Fire. It also sounded like Sanity would be the one to kill Survivor rather than a traitor, especially because there is no mention of a traitor in the prophecy.

I'm assuming that still giving writing tips is okay? Sorry if this is really late, but it's always worth giving help when there's potential help to give.
Here's a youtube vid of someone basically telling you which common things are good to avoid. It's worth saying that if any rules she gives take away the fun, it's fine not to follow them for writing casually; eg the switching POV thing doesn't apply on CaC, even if it does on a novel.

On a more CaC specific level, I'd recommend splitting the dialogue so it goes onto the next paragraph when a new character speaks. This is how speech is expressed in published books (not just in the UK! Seems to be a "Euroversal" linguistic trait; i.e. every primarily European language seems to do this.), because it's a lot easier to read and determine who's speaking. It also means you don't need to keep saying "said x" "said y". and you can use fewer colours for the dialogue, while still making it pop using colour.
Not having to use a 1 to 1 mapping for character to colour means that readers don't have to scroll down repeatedly through posts and losing where they are. It also means people with a less developed ability to distinguish colour can understand.
But if you do want to do 1 to 1 colour - character mapping, I'd recommend not using neon colours or the coat colour - because when you colour code it by coat and there's a white cat, you have to highlight it to read it, at which point you can't see the colour contrasts, and there being colours defeats its own point.

No idea what I'd be for prefix (It's not a lack of ideas! Please don't submit ideas, my prefix list is very thorough, definitely more so than ailuronmy's, which is where most seem to come from!)
Suffix I'm tricky. I prioritise skills over personality (I'm close to a -stone in my system, but not exactly there). I'm a qualified first aider so technically Med Cat would be tenable, and hence -leaf. I feel like -stream is the bandwagon, but it fits, and health issues force it to. I'm not going to try explaining that quickly, and honestly, it's not the most cheerful.
Avoiding the quickly ruled out ones, I'd say -flower or -path. I have ridiculously strong parental instincts. I make a fuss over every small child I see and that is not an exaggeration, and I'll take up pretty much any excuse to interact with them. For me -flower means a cat who has a knack for parenting, and -path a cat who has a knack for teaching and raising cats, which both relate to small humans. Choosing -flower v -path would probably depend on the prefix, as both fit.
