Okay, so it has been some time since I posted the last time. My little dog keeps me busy most of the time :3 But I got a few things to show you.

First, I got my very first Kalon some time ago, and I finally found a name. Im not fully satisfied, but well. Here is Zachary:

Hufflepuff: This currently unnamed little girl here, because its obvious xD and big thanks to Sunlitsecrets again, who did art and design
Griffyndor: Id go with Suki for this one. She is the one, who will get in any dangerous situation just to protect her beloved. I feel she would belong to Griffyndor. And she is a lion^^
Slytherin: Choosing Khan for this one. I mean, for all you Trekkies out there, he would be an amazing Slytherin, wouldnt he?
Ravenclaw: Id go with Galaxi (the one from above) for this one. Im not done with her developement right now, but I got a feeling she would be the right one. She isnt really the one for feelings, but more for knowledge. She is wise and reputable, and still wants to learn more. I feel she would be a good Ravenclaw.

Okay, so from how I see it, Hufflepuffs most value kindness, Gryffindors most value bravery and courage, Slytherins most value ambition, and Ravenclaws most value creativity.

Basil is most definitely a Hufflepuff. He always tries his hardest to make everyone's day a little better and doesn't care what others think about him. While he might be a bit overwhelming and excited when you first meet him, he has a heart of gold and wants to share it with everyone around him.

Asherah is a Slytherin for sure - even if she might not seem like the most ambitious person were you to see her doing her queenly duties, she puts her whole heart into what she loves doing. Whether sneaking out at night and back in before dawn without anyone noticing in the slightest or practicing her best sword fighting moves, she has quite a lot of sneaky tricks up her sleeve and a good dose of guile on top of it all.

As much as I try not to, I always think of Merle and Lumiere together, and this time is no exception. They're both Ravenclaw through and through to me, with their endless creative ideas in making up pranks. Merle is what you'd perhaps call more of a 'traditional' Ravenclaw, or at least a Ravenclaw in the way people usually think of them. He keeps everything together with the pranks, keeps notes, and reads as much as he can to make sure their plans don't have any flaws. Lumiere, on the other hand, couldn't care less about books, but he has an incredible imagination and inspiration that shines through in all his pranks.

And finally, I'm gonna go with Felix for Gryffindor. This felt like an odd choice to me at first, because he's certainly not a heroic figure like I know many people I know perceive Gryffindors. But what he most values is bravery and justice - his own strange kind of justice, but justice nonetheless. While he may be the perpetrator or petty crimes like stealing cookies and paper clips, he likes to think of himself as a Robin Hood kind of figure, stealing from the well-off to help out those in need (read:himself). He also is incredibly daring, willing to do anything decently worth it without a second thought.

Hey guys, I've been meaning to post here for quite some time but things have been rough for me. </3 losing my grandmother and now facing my own serious debilitating health problems has really weighed down my creative soul and characters have been my release. I'm frustrated I don't have the time to develope all mine like so many of you here have, just coming on this thread everyday brightens up my world a little bit. All of you who do art, buy art, and just love characters make me smile. It keeps me pushing on, keeps me dreaming of a time when life will ease up enough for me to just be.

In wake of that rant, I thought I'd offer some kind of.. emotional character questions? Since I feel like sometimes it's hard to see behind the characters to the owners and that sometimes we forget the real people who we love. <3

I only have time for one before bed, but I'm super curious to see what others offer.

In my perfect world, I would have time each morning to sit down with a cup of coffee or tea and browse through all the character boards that I watch. All my characters, each one of the hundreds I own, would have their individual pages with personalities and art. It would be free, there wouldn't be time restricting what I do. I could have time to do many designs and give them away to those who wanted, or sell to those who wanted. I would have time to perfect designing feline characters and finally learn about mysterious tools like Dodge, overlay etc. X3 I would have a large group of friends to have fun with, to do fun breedings with and to talk about designing with as well.
My life would be so differnt without characters, they are a support system for me. A way that I take care of myself and keep myself grounded to the world. They keep me happy even on dark days and allow me a healthy outlet to express emotions when I'm unable to in life. I think my life is fuller and happier because either got involved with characters
