@Phina: Depends on what kind of finch you're talking about! Here is Ailuronomy's Finch- page and why they don't recommend it as a prefix. You might want to check this page, although I'd recommend Carp-, Golden-, Honey-, Oat-, Reed-, Rush-, and Rye-, all of which I believe are golden-brown or golden, covering most of the light blonde spectrum. Granted, Leopardstep or Lionstep would sound pretty cool if you think that fits your personality...

@sushinekko, I like the Lightning- prefix a lot, but I'll try and come up with some suggestions. I'm not sure where your clan is based (sorry for that, but I there's so much to catch up on and so little time xP) or where your new cat originated from, so I'm suggesting Dolphin- just for the heck of it (based on South Asian river dolphin). You could also try Hurricane-, Tornado-, Cyclone- and/or Storm- to reference to the eye of a storm. Lightningscatter (scatter as in scatter-brained or eccentric) might be an option as a full name. I'll try and come up with something more creative later, if my sleepy brain allows it.
