Like I said though, mature content, and not just of the blood and gore variety (You have been warned). If you can get past that it's a good show, though I suspect the manga is better, but I've just started reading it.

Haha. Yeah. XD Though in that sense, High School of the Dead would be much worse.
There were a couple of parts though that were just exasperating for me. Really Ryouta, really? Leave the girl alone.
I also wish Himiko had a larger role. Reading the manga now just to see how the story continues. They left the anime at a pretty bad spot in my opinion...

Utawarerumono is starting to get really good now! I'm currently watching episode 18. TV Tropes said episode 22 is a Wham Episode... I can't wait! It's like when I had three episodes of FMA03 left and couldn't wait to finish it... I just hope episode 22 of UWM isn't a letdown.


Also that's probably a fan nickname but THAT'S THE COOLEST FAN NICKNAME EVER. =D

Have you ever misread any anime titles? I used to think Utawarerumono and Dagan Ronpa were called Ukakawaetumono and Dragon Ropa. O_o

I often noticed Btooom on mangafox, before it got an anime adaption, but I didn't really feel like reading it.
Though I can say, that you shouldn't discard an anime because of fanservice or some ecchi content.
I found some pretty interesting/funny ones.
For example
Onegai teacher - ecchi genre (just a bit), quite the nice love story
Great Teacher Onizuka - some light ecchi content as well, but quite the funny story (didn't finish it yet though)
He is My Master - ecchi genre, but more comedy, something light and funny
Najica Blitz Tactics - never saw more fanservice in an single anime, but it's a nice light anime, if you are ok, with something that doesn't have much of a deep plot

I also read some chapters of Acid town (some time ago), but I didn't really get into it.
