hey my guys, gals, and nonbinary pals !! (good morning i love thomas sanders) i've been working on some ideas recently for character development, and i'd love to see if anyone else was interested? i know the caaa is hosting it's own big character development event for the year, but i was hoping to a smaller/shorter thing that would run through the summer !! i always struggle with motivation when it comes to sticking with a project, so i'm proposing a partner project !! you would be put into groups of two or three and you would encourage/bounce ideas off each other along the way. your characters don't necessarily have to interact, but it would be a great way to make some friends and develop your characters. i don't have all the kinks worked out, and i might end up needing some help, but the basic idea is there would be two tracks participating, one for art and one for writing. each week (yep, each week !!) there would be a new theme to work on developing your character through. so !! after that novel, i'd love to know if anyone is interested !! please send a pm over if you have any questions or suggestions !!

Hmmmm, that sounds kinda neat. I would be afraid the partners wouldn't communicate though. So one would be rearing to go but the other wouldn't be. Or they have different tastes in things.

Are you satisfied with your current characters or are you still actively collecting?
Not exactly satisfied and I'm still collecting. I've gotten tired with a lot of designs I currently have now (taste in designs have changed recently), so I'm looking for a bunch of new, nice babs!

When trading, do you focus more on the value of characters or their design?
The design! I feel like something is only valuable when you give it value...so if I like the design, I value it a lot. If I don't like a design, it doesn't have much value/meaning to me personally
