Hiii! c: I know most of you know me as epic_jinx in minecraft -- welcome to the new members by the way! I'm looking for about 1-2 other people to help me farm pumpkins on a huge farm today. Here are some screenshots and for the numbers and such:
18 layers
5 rows of pumpkins per layer with two lines of pumpkins per row. (45 stems per line)
Around 3mil per harvest, must have an eff 5 axe to harvest so it's fastest. (can help you make one)
around 9k pumpkins per harvest.

You would start at the top and work your way down til you've done 9 full layers. I would start from the bottom and do the same. Then, we could sit up on the top of the pumpkin farm, for about 15 mins til it regrows. c:

Her saves file must have been corrupted. If so, it could happen again at any time, you should get it fixed.

I am just going to jump in here with something useful that might actually help. Saying that someone should just simply get something fixed doesn't help them at all, and causes unnecessary frustration ^^
Your save filed are not necessarily corrupt. There may have just been a glitch or perhaps a memory issue?
I have learned the hard way, to back up data religiously! Every day after I play a computer game, I copy any new data (such as a save file) to an external hard drive in case anything goes wrong. I know I had to rely on doing this a lot for The Sims 3. The most important folders to back up are saves, (resource packs if you use them), (screenshots if you take them). You can find them by going to:
C:\Users\[Name]\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft
Or just simply type %appdata% into your start menu search and go to your .minecraft folder from there. Make a backup folder somewhere in your documents or a hard drive if you can. DO NOT use a USB unless it is a really good, quality brand. I learned the hard way also and lost EVERYTHING I had - pictures, backups, etc.

Do you know what might have caused the crash? Was there an error message? Were there any mods that may have caused this? Do you have any crash logs?
There should be a crash report folder in your .minecraft folder. If there is one for the date that minecraft crashed, then that will be more helpful to see what did happen, because at this point is could be a lot of things.
