I used the pottermore test. (: otherwise I probably would have chosen a horse or a wolfhound probably.

yeah, the test was weird and the questions didn't make much sense. I guess it is hard to make a test for something like a patronus, since there are not only many animal possibilities, but also a patronus can be based on personal experiences that a computer can't know about from a few simple quiz questions. still, I think the quiz could have been better.

hey everyone! i am minimire galfindo, a huge major fan of the harry potter world. i have joined chicken smoothie to continue that dream by roleplaying some harry potter ideas that i have. my favourite characters are luna, neville, and newt! definitely newt XD ever since i watched fantastic beasts, i've become a huge fan of the harry potter world. i have never really liked harry potter before but after fantastic beasts. man, my feelings changed in just two hours! haha

i've been doing lots of things and so i haven't replied to anything in awhile. i'm here now, though!

i'm gonna talk about things by topic...

let me first share that pottermore doesn't really know what to do with me. way back when it first started, it put me in slytherin. when the new website came about, it put me in gryffindor. now, it put me in ravenclaw. so yeah.
for the ivermorny houses, it sorted me into pukwudgie, which (according to google and the internet) is closest to gryffindor.

i don't think i've ever said it on here, but my patronus is a greyhound c:
i think this kind of suits me, because i'd like to think i'm loyal?

local fans
it's weird, but near me, people seem to be evenly distributed. i'm in slytherin, and another guy i've seen had a slytherin jacket as well. there's one guy who's either in hufflepuff or ravenclaw (don't even get me started on him, he has all four house jackets and wears them all), and there are two more people i know in gryffindor and hufflepuff. my friends that are into hp are all in ravenclaw.

fantastic beasts
i just have to say that i love newt's character: he's kind of like luna, in a couple of ways. very smart, as well as uncaring of what others think of him, good with animals, etc.
also, i like that even though newt and tina are obviously going to get together at some point in the next four movies (she is his wife, after all), they didn't push that into the first one. i think that alone is great. the movie wasn't about romance (besides queenie and jacob), mostly about the story and newt's creatures c:

on the ilvermorny houses: i like to think of the ilvermorny houses being separate from the gryffindor houses.when the quiz first came out, i immediately put the two houses together and compared them, which is normal b/c it's easy to see the similarities. a while later, i found an article which explained how they're both totally different, which is now how i like to think of them. i can try to find that article. i forget where i saw it. :p

i see the parallels between luna and newt too, and i really like that. they're both adorable characters. (:

hmm... luna has always been my favorite female character (well, when i was a lil' kid first reading the series i liked ginny because she had red hair like me). as for a male character, i'm not really sure. i kinda like hagrid. he just seems like a genuinely nice person. i might need to think harder about that one, lol.

Male character is definitely between Lupin and Sirius. When I read the books years ago I felt more attached to Sirius and I cried when he died because that ripped open my little ten year old soul. But Lupin is a close second.
Cedric his behind Lupin. I was disgusted with his character in the Cursed Child. They butchered him completely. Especially his good sportsman trait.

As for female. Probably Luna, because of her quirky attitude. I was a pretty weird kid and I related to her. And I love the actress who comes from my area so just. I love everything about Luna.

mainstream, yes, but i just love everything about her
she can be a bit stubborn though, especially with
S.P.E.W, i just wish she could understand that elves

professor mcgonagall is a close second. i think she
deserves some admiration - i spend a lot of time on
looking up harry potter on pintrest. if i hadn't, i would
have never none professor mcgonagall was so admirable

as for male i honestly have no idea. i have a feeling that
my favourite male character would be one the next generation
kids. i haven't read the cursed child yet. i wanted it for xmas but
my family says to just borrow it from the library. well guess
what...ITS NOT THERE YETT hnngggggggh
