Well, I know that we just announced in last month's newsletter that Breyer would not be doing a Treasure Hunt model this year, but if we all know Breyer then we know that they always have surprises for us and lo & behold...they've surprised us by announcing at the 2011 Toy Fair in NY that there WILL BE a 2011 Treasure Hunt event!



And boy is this gonna be a good one...

This year's Treasure Hunt model is an AMAZING new trotting Arabian Mare sculpted by Brigitte Eberl! She will be offered in 3 different colors: Sunny is a gorgeous palomino; Partly Cloudy is a lovely dapple grey pinto; and Thunderstorm is a smokey black with 3 white socks!



When the first three models are collected, simply submit your proof of purchase directly to Breyer to receive the fourth model, RAINBOW, as a free reward for completing this treasure hunt. Rainbow is a surprise model and who knows what Breyer has in store for us with this one!



Not only is this a new mold for Breyer, but once the Treasure Hunt is over, this mold will be locked away in the Breyer Vault until 2016!



Don't hesitate to get yours right away because this little mare is gonna fly off the shelves, not to be produced again for 5 YEARS!



We will not have them available for pre-sale until the first part of March, but we are starting a waiting list so please email us if you'd like us to notify you when we pre-sales begin. We don't have an exact price on them since we have not received our pricelist from Breyer yet, but we do know they will be between $35.00-$45.00 each.



*As many of you know, the Treasure Hunt models are very popular and since this is a new mold, we anticipate that we will sell out very quickly. We hope that Breyer has anticipated this as well and has produced enough models this year (many of us are reminded of the 2010 TH fiasco). With this in mind, please be prepared that there could be a long wait for this model.





One of our customers has graciously supplied us with this photo taken at the 2011 Toy Fair. Once we receive an official photo from Breyer we will be sure to let you all know!
