The face seems a little too thin, but that could just be my opinion. =3

Blu Winter- Overall the anatomy looks good, but the whiskers should connect with the face instead of hovering. For your 'Nature's Essence' picture, the chest is far too small and the leg in the distance is much too small. Also, the snout is too long and narrow.

She-Hound- That's adorable <3 I love the design and the concept ^^

Ivalynfyre- The legs are much too thin to support him. But I love his face, I can't wait to see it finished ^^

☣ тσηу ѕтαяк ☣- Try adding some darker shading. Make sure to shade with reddish/tan tones, not greys/blacks. Also, try making her eyelashes thicker at the base of her eye and thin as they extend.

Koiyote- I think the snout is a little too long, but it might just be me ^^; The ears and paws and eyes are absolutely lovely <3

Neelix- The wings are a bit..misshapen? Try using the tutorial for bird wings on the front page ^^

You deserve a cookie, those antlers are awesome. I can't wait until I get the the 'Guardian' portion of my god series, there's this one character with a pair of 'em that I love to draw.
Yeah, the legs are really there to make him look cooler/weirder. His back legs would be the ones supporting most of his weight, anyways, but I didn't really bother twisting his body to show them.

@Koiyote - The neck looks a little short to me, although I've been drawing long-necked creatures recently, so I might be wrong. I like it though, the tall, pointed ears are something I love~

@Neelix - That's an unusual thing to draw, armadillos are pretty cool though, I like the purple wings you added on.

@mistywren - the eyesss. They really draw me in! I've never been able to draw equine eyes. o3o

I essentially finished the full god drawing. I'll return to it and tweak some things, but, yeah, it's done for now.

I just finished this commission, I'd love some critique or comments on it ^^

I love the colors and shading and the overall appeal of the drawing. but there is quite a few anatomy problems. The snout is angled down to far and much to short, and the ears to rounded and stumped, almost like bear ears. Your paws are spectacular but the body is a little to short.

Calix, it may just be me, but does something seem wrong with the paws? They look off. The snout is too short. Great drawing overall


I need fast help. I'm trying to get this animation done, but I need a good program. I don't care if it's a free trial and such as long as it offers me enough tools for an enexperienced beginner to make a short fifteen second animation drawn digitally. Anyone have any favorites? Fast replies please ^^ Thanks

Gimp, use Gimp, there is a few good tutorials on animating with gimp on deviantart. I use and paint, and window movie maker and also occasionally photoshop. infact I created this just last night.

the dew claw is on the outside of the front paw closest to us, it shouldn't be.
