Also, I’m sorry if this is a duh question, but where can I find the list of holibombers? It’s my first time participating and I’ve just been gifting people who have posted about it or have it in their signature. How do you do it?

There was a list of all the signed-up holibombers on the front page of the Main or Discussion thread in the past, if I am not misremembering.
However, currently there is no such list for this years Holibombs and I can't say for sure if there will be one made at a later point. For now, you can simply check all the posted sign-up posts in the Main thread.
(I really hope I did not misunderstand your question ^^; )

I’m interested in becoming a holibomber! I am very new to the concept though, but I see it every year around the advent time xD

Basically, you simply "sign up" on the main thread and send out gifts to fellow holibombers and/or random users on CS and maybe include a simple "Holibomb!" as a trade message, so that other people know that it is one
It is completely up to you what, how much and how often you send out a gift.
If you want to, you can keep a counter for your sent and recived gifts in your signature/trading rules. It really is just that - a gifting "game" to share and spread some joy across Chicken Smoothie

Anywho there won't be a full on archive this year, like last year simply because it is so much work..

I like seeing people's reactions to getting their wishlist pets. I have a lot of old and valuable pets, so seeing people light up from getting one is a nice treat for myself.

my favorite thing about holibombs is the community. everyone who I gift and has gifted me have been so kind and it really warms my heart. I'm so happy that this tradition has continued this long, it's my favorite time of year!

I love playing Santa: trying to suss players out, get a sense from their trade rules and profile what they like and might be looking for, try to make sure there's something on their wishlist... It's a good time, I always enjoy it.

What's my favorite part of holibombing?

Honestly, the way I play CS (very pet collecting focused), I don't interact very much in the forums enough to recognize people. But I really like just going through, giving random people gifts, and going through the forums and recognizing the majority of the profile pictures as people who have gifted me or I've gifted. It's nice to be in a little, very generous, community. <3
