Nautilus support is really strong right now! I think he may have been originally intended to be a support, but I'm not 100% sure on that one. I personally don't like the current tank support meta because all of my favorite supports are so squishy. I've decided to pick up Leona and possibly Thresh, but they aren't really my playstyle. :c

I think he (and blitzcrank) were intended to be top laners but nobody really played nautilus until lemonnation(? might have been yellowstar) pulled it out in the LCS as a support. In my normals I usually play Sona so I feel you there, I hate it when people pick blitzcrank or thresh or any tanky support tbh cause Sona has the lowest base health in game I think. How's leona? I've been planning to pick up leona and thresh sometime but I've only played Sona, and now the occasional Nautilus. (And alistar once but that was one time so... xD)

I think he (and blitzcrank) were intended to be top laners but nobody really played nautilus until lemonnation(? might have been yellowstar) pulled it out in the LCS as a support. Leona's pretty easy, in my opinion. All you really have to do in lane is engage with your E at any chance you get, because unless you've already given the enemy bot lane a kill advantage, you'll likely outdamage them because of your combo (E pulls you to an enemy, Q makes your auto stun, W is a MR/armor buff that explodes to do damage). On top of that, her passive marks an enemy so that anyone else attacking the enemy does some additional damage. One of her few counters is Morgana because of her snare and spell shield. As much as I dislike playing melee champions, I've done very well on Leona. All you have to do is set up kills with your E+Q, and usually it's enough for your team to secure the kill. If not, her ult is pretty good too, being an AoE slow (and stun if you land it in the center!). I find it kind of difficult to land, but I've only played Leona three or four times. She can easily get you to Gold and even to Platinum if you're lucky. Her E isn't too hard to dodge if you're expecting it, though, which is why she falls off in professional play.

Ah, thanks for the information. She sort of sounds like Nautilus, as he has a pull, aoe slow, stun (his passive immobilizes the enemy for one second I'm pretty sure, through your auto attack). I'll definitely try her out when she's on free week. I think I can land the ult really well (besides maybe the center stun) as I can easily land cho'gath ruptures while others seem to struggle with it?
If you want to pick up more champions like leona, I'd definitely recommend Nautilus to you as I see the similarities between the two champions. His ult is also good for locking down carries and it's a point and click CC so no need to worry about missing it. Also, you can use his hook to escape ^_^

the last thing i remember was that mid was tanky instead of assassins.
now the supports are going tanky?
im going to have such a hard time adjusting when i get back to playing :c

In the LCS there was a "tank meta" where pretty much everyone was tanky. Cinderhulk junglers, tank mid, tank adc sometimes (*cough*urgot*cough*), tank supp, tank top, etc. It was league of runeglaive for a short bit when the item was broken but now it's fixed I believed, but runeglaive is still a top jungler pick apparently. I think now teams are going for poke comps but I'm also behind on the meta now. xD

I don't know about ranked, but I know in normals people just play whatever they want so don't worry. c:

Nautilus seems a lot like Leona, I may have to pick him up as well! I think that he may have an advantage over her, considering he has an escape and she really doesn't.

I'm not positive of the current meta, either. The people that I play with still play tanky or whatever's broken. The tnak meta made ADCs pretty useless, but they're gaining relevance again. But Invi is right; the meta doesn't matter until you're at a professional level of play. As long as your team comp is stronger than the other team, you have an upper-hand.

Yeah, the tank meta sucked so much for assassins and adcs.

I've been thinking a lot about offering CS pets for RP/league skins but I'm not sure if it's against the rules and if anyone on CS would even do it, what do you guys think?

I think that it would be more trouble than it's worth; you have to be friends with someone for 14 days before you can gift them, which wouldn't be a convenient wait time for trades. On top of that, you'd have to look into Riot's ToS to see if they allow it.
