In all fairness, with how dragon prices are, it's not worth it to scroll up anything. The odds of making back the treasure of the scrolls unless it is a shiny new breed (Like Coatls when they had just been released.) or brand new genes (Like Crackle when it had just been released.) is extremely low. That's why if you scroll, you should always do it for yourself and for how that dragon would be perfect for you. =)

I'm actually planning to Coatl this gorgeous girl at some point. I have a dress up planned for her that will look absolutely adorable on a female Coatl, but she has to wait sadly. I have my little avocado/parrot Tundras to finish geneing up first. X3

Buying genes or breed changes dont necessarily have anything to do with selling


Him for example i hatched from a random egg a long time ago as a guardian when maize was really popular and dragons sold well and planned to triple gene him. Now i doubt he and his mate will sell alot of babies even triple gened but i'm still planing on gening them up because i like them. Ive already sunk like 500k into just him? and another SD breed change on his mate. Though for your tree if you can find one the exact same coloration(if triple gened or planning on) already a coatl then i would get that o3o

No offense, but you seem to have read only the first sentence of my post, so I bolded out the part in which I pretty much stated the same thing that you are correcting me on here. ;3 I am fairly certain everyone here who reads my posts knows that I am addicted to geneing up my own dragons, and I certainly don't do it for the profit. The girl in my siggy? I got her as a triple Basic Guardian gal. Look at her now. Cost me a pretty penny, and while I will never make back the treasure, she was one hundred percent worth it, because to me, she is perfect. This is why I stated that you should only scroll for yourself, and because you want to scroll said dragon up, not because it is 'worth' it, but because it is something you want to do. In fact, of the 44 permanent dragons in my lair, 27 have been scrolled up by me, and two others are waiting for scrolls~

XD i didnt mean for it to sound like i missed that part but what i was trying to do was say that that is what i do as well because OAO making your babies pretty is important too X3

Ah, I misunderstood your post then, my apologies~ In that case yes, I completely agree with you. Leaving a dragon as you bought/hatched it because it just happened to be perfect that way for you is awesome, because it means you struck the jackpot big time, but otherwise scrolling is one of my favorite parts of the site. It sort of makes me get attached to these dragons, because it took time and effort to get them to be my perfect little babies. ^^

Does anyone know how much I should price this Jade Idol Skin for in the AH? I'm cleaning out my hoard and have decided to sell some of my skins. This one is from the Light festival. I looked in the AH to get an idea of price, but there weren't any, so now I feel lost. Is there a thread for this kind of thing on FR? I get so lost in FR's forums.
