I was just wondering, does anybody think it would be rude if I said the reason why I was gifting someone a pet?
I have done it in the past - the very long past -, and people yelled at me for doing it, saying it was rude to tell them the reason why, because it could be opoffensive. I really don't see how saying that someone is very nice can be offensive, but yeah..

I think it's very nice of you to tell someone the reason you are gifting the pets to that person. But it differs with people, I'm not exactly sure why someone would be offended by a compliment but people are weird C:

Yeah, I think it is very rude for them to yell at me, but I don't get why they do so. Like you said, people are rude.

That matters on what your reason is. Some reasons can be kind of offensive. People are weird, they get offended over the tiniest things. Personally, I'd be happy somebody thought of me to give a pet to, no matter the reason. The only reason I wouldn't be happy about someone giving me a pet say it's for free, is if they later expect something back. I don't think you're doing that, though.

Just ignore these people who're yelling at you. That's the thing about the internet. It's pretty easy to just ignore someone.

I wasn't talking to anyone specific. Unless I quote someone directly, I'm not talking to anybody specific. ^^" I was saying that, in general, the posts asking for pets need to go down, and be replaced with posts talking about giving pets. Sorry that you felt I was excluding you. D: Please don't be mad.
