While watching my newly brought Jurassic world DVD I notice something at the end when the guys firing a gun at the Indomanas rex, why is he just firing it randomly and not aiming for say the eyes? like if he could blind it then it would still be a threat but less or one you know? like it would give his Raptors a better chance, and probably stop the one from getting blown up in the BBQ.
edit:one of the deleted sceans shows the indomanas vanishing from the heat scenes they needed to have that in the film.

Because you aim for the center of mass, no way you're going to hit the teeny tiny eye of a moving target. Biggest chance of hitting something is to aim at the center of mass. This is why they never shoot the running criminal in the legs.

Again that makes no sense to me

just it doesn't seem very practical. like why the big dino don't jump. I do like how the raptor jumps between both Rex's in the fight though i think that's adorable.

There's nothing practical about missing the target either. Schooting a dinosaur with a little gun isn't practical, trying to hit one anywhere else than the center of mass is hopeless.
A T-rex and a raptor working together is also not going to happen. There's a lot wrong with JW but I'm not going to talk about that. It was a fun movie, talking about the science of it is trying to make science from Littlefoot.

i like Land before time though
Yer and I noticed another plot mistake watching my 3rd time through, I remember reading that if a T-Rex fell over the impact would kill it or it wouldn't be able to get up due to its tiny arms. The T-Rex in the film is knocked over yet it gets up and keeps fighting.
And to be completely honest I love how the raptor and T-Rex work together its such a adorable scean it almost has me tearing up every time.

It would be an extreamly letal factor if the T rex would die when knocked over. I doubt that's true. Dinosaurs lived a violent life, fought all the time. There's record of a T Rex that survived the loss of a third of it's tail. If they survive that but not tripping... I'd like to see the source of that information. I highly doubt that it's true.
