I thought it was the joy of getting new characters to develop instead of using them just for breeding.

We love our simas do death, that's why breeding is a fundamental part of the sima community. To make more simas so we can love them and gift them to those that might not have them.
I'm sure no one wants them just for breeding.

Yes but it does not mean we have to have a hoard of their children within a month by using to many re-breeding time. And to take maybe a few days to wait days after the breeding limit is gone would be helpful to not only the simas, but the artists as well

Silverr, the waiting time is already a month or so IIRC, the only reason people have been bypassing that time is through use of events aka, chocolate boxes.
