I have a cage just for them so that if it isn't them its OK. I think.its cause the other person only had a single rat and they were ganging up on her. But yeah.

Well, after having my friend come over we are positive that Sally is indeed pregnant.

She felt at least three babies.

I am desperately hoping they're wild hybrids. I will NOT be breeding them, but they'll make AMAZING pets and I'm overall very excited for that.

Also, about 15 more days until Syria's second litter.

Shea looked her over, and she's actually a cocoa, not a mink like we thought. It explains why she's so much lighter than my other mink girl. ^_^ I never thought I'd be lucky enough to have a cocoa rat.

I'll be breeding her in 3-4 months to my agouti hooded male Bentley to bring out some color in the babies & see what she and he carry.

I have a pedigree on Bentley, only a line back but it's better than nothing, you know?

After Syria & Sally's litter are old enough and rehomed I am breeding Skunk.

All of the babies will remain pets until I have good lines coming into my rattery, which would be the 8th generation dumbo ratties I'm getting from my friend. They were born a few days ago, and I can NOT wait for them to come home. I am investing in more cages as we speak.

ALSO.

Ever since I switched back to newspaper and carefresh? Not a SINGLE sneeze. not a single. one.

When I had aspen they were all sneezing. I am so unbelievably happy all of my rats are healthy.

Pistachio is getting big. His baby fur is starting to molt out, and he's darkening. ^_^ he has such beautiful markings, EVEN if he is a broken hooded I am very, VERY proud of him.

I got my two new rats. Their names are Ducky and Petrie. Ducky is very friendly and calm, loves cuddles. but petrie is a little deprived of attention and bites a bit and doesnt like being touched much. but I still love her

Hmm, maybe the other person's rat was the one causing the problem? Adorable kiddies though, I can't wait to get home and cuddle the heck outta mine again. Poor babies had to spend the day at the vet getting treated for lice while I was at school/work

Thats not good. My babies are going to go play at my sisters day care in a few days. They will be 3 weeks old that day so they are going to be so excited.
