I didn't know there was a Naruto topic! But I think I should not look through it too much, I am afraid of spoilers XD I am on episode 137 (of the original Naruto, not shippuden). It's taken me quite a few years to get this far lol

So, I'm kinda falling back into my Naruto phase kinda hard rn.
Except this time i'm fixated on Gaara.
Speaking of, the song "Sick like me" by In this Moment is a GREAT song for Chunin-exam Gaara.

Same - Slowly but surely I'm filtering my thoughts back to Naruto.
I recently got a partner and it's a bit annoying because he's into some fantastic things that I love as well but i don't think i'll ever get him into anime - it's hard to get him to watch more adult geared american cartoons as well so I know I can't show him Naruto.
Which got me thinking about Naruto all over again - and just how much I miss when it was fresh and I was reading alongside it's release and watching alongside it's release.

Some super good memories and vibes along with it man.

I don't have a partner of my own, but my mom's boyfriend has a nerdy side and we've mentioned Naruto in passing, so maybe it can be something we vibe over. Also I have a newer coworker who lives the nerd life, and we're always bouncing references off each other. i.e. the other day we were having a sort of joking 'fight me' fit, and we both did the hand sign for the clone jutsu.

As for why I'm on Gaara.....shoot fam idek. I think I saw a Boruto clip come up on my youtube suggestions, and he happened to be the thumbnail. And then my brain was like, "oh yeah, I remember him. Funky little murder boy." So yeah. I'm all up into his tragic backstory.

But also.
Can I roast his new hair for a minute?
Cause wow.



They massacred my boy.
He LOOKS like he's about to ask for a manager.
He looks like a single mom of 3 struggle bus'in on the degree grind.
He looks like someone who considers discussing taxes to be a lunch date.
He looks like he goes home and bows down to his wife.
He looks like he might get passive aggressive if you give him the wrong frappuccino.

I could probably go on, but man is it bad. Like I remember thinking how bad I though Sasuke's hair ended up, idk HOW I missed Gaara.

You know what, I've hated Gaara with the passion of thousand burning suns ever since he almost murdered Lee during the chunin exams even though he opened gates, but I'm just happy to see a conversation going on in this thread.

Naruto is awesome, and the amount of anime fans on here combined with the popularity of Naruto means that this thread and the anime fan club thread should be a lot more active, but both are somehow the most dead threads on CS. (TT - TT)
