Can I get help in PSE? Need a tutorial on how to make stuff glow. Can't find one... >.>

Since I stalk this thread more than I post on it, and since I don't really have critique for anything here's a message to you all:
I love all those fantastic drawings. Keep up the good work!

Yes, I LOVE more modest colour schemes. And, omg, I'm loving those avatars you're drawing, Spotty! The expressions are amazing! < 33 CB

I too prefere simple colours and patterns with a bit of specific character traits in the features rather than the fur patterns. The characters I design for myself are mostly very plain, but that's the way I like them^^.
And thank you ever so much, I'm having a lot of fun with my expression studies^^.

this is a VER rough sketch, so I am just trying to get anatomy down before I do the actual lines.

The new sketch looks amazing, the face and neck look quite dashing now. Lovely!

Um, if 1 is little like a gerbil and 10 is much like a gerbil... I think it's about 3? I think it looks more like a floofy doggy than any kind of rodent, both by pose and anathomy. The eyes and paws looks rodentish enough, but the rest is more canine I'm afraid.

Woah, mistywren, that looks awesome! I love the wing detail. I'd suggest...variating? the color in the blood on the ribbon, unless the blood is fresh. The only example I could find was here. Maybe just add some darker maroons? I don't know. I could be 100% wrong though. Regardless,I love it! Your art is always so amazing ^^

Also, I was looking for help on this?

I finished the lines and base coloring..I don't know how to do fur texture around the markings s: Any help?

Misty, it was wonderful watching you livestream. Your work is always gorgeous. < 3
And that raven came out amazing! The texture in the feathers, and the wing anatomy looks great!
The feet also look awesome-- as someone who HATES drawing bird feet, MAD respect from me. xD

Gonna be livestreaming again to try and get this commission done by having some company. 8D

@.August - Yeah, good point. For the image though, the person who wanted it done pretty much just said "A black raven holding a white silk band that is stained with blood" And sitting for pose when I later asked. I sort of winged what I had, and so I assumed it was fresh, thus there is some on the ground before the bird too.

@Susiron - ;3 I sure enjoyed having you all join me on there.

mistywren, impressive work on the texture of the feathers, I know for sure I'd never have enough patience to sit and give texture and shading to every individual fether. O.o I think every part of the image is close to perfect, you should be proud.

.August, your drawing is comming along really nicely^^. What I usually do when I want to define the fur texture around markings is to make little fluff lines;

Okay, the example is terrible, I know, but I needed to have something to show. Define a fur direction and try to stick to that, let the base colour fur overhang the marking on the side of the marking that's aginst fur direction (upper left corner in my doodle) and let the marking fur overhang on the other side of the marking, along fur direction.
