so, i got my copy yesterday!
i've not read a lot of it, roughly fifty pages (only ~5 scenes, not much)
but i have to mention a coupe of things, i'll try to stay vauge

    1. draco has his hair in a ponytail (therefore grown out) and i dunno how i feel about that? i've always imagined that it'd remind him of lucius, so he'd keep it short, but?

    2. harry has a dream and while they included some not-as-well-known lines that i'm pretty sure were direct quotes, they messed up one of the most important ones? so...

    3. i can't say much about it without spoiling the weirdness, but... well, there's a part that's borderline crack fic that honestly just made me giggle?

I may pick The Cursed Child up later on at Target, and from what I've heard from, Scorpius is an absolute gem. Yet I am hesitant to get it, as I've heard many plot holes and scenes that don't sit well.. eh, might as well get it anyway. Somewhat spoiler:
albus is in slytherin, it's fact, and it's great.

Also, November is too far away. Although I don't generally watch movies that often, I can't wait for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them!

i'd say pick it up, because while it's quite weird and probably a bit out of character (harry is actually kind of ooc, to what i imagined harry as at least) but it's really kind of a fun read either way.

Met a friend of mine today who told me the whole plot of The Cursed Child.
I didn't mind because I love spoilers and I'm going to read it soon anyways.
I have the book in my hands but I can't make myself read it! I'm scared that I won't like it and doom myself to the HP Universe! XD
    'I'll stop being silly tho...

    Scorpius and Albus Severus! <3
I love how they turned out! I'm not very happy with Rose for some reason tho...
    what do you guys think?

    *Cursed Child Spoilers!*
honestly, i hate that scorpius and albus don't end up together, because they are perfect for eachother. besides that, the entire book has a bunch of lines that make it so obvious, but nope. i mean, there's literally a line that's something like "scorpius saw albus talking to the girl... he felt happy and heartbroken at the same time"
like, what is that if not crushing and love!

another thing, with ron: i get they were trying to show he is a goofball, but personally? i think they just made him look dumb. is that just me?

other than that, i think i liked it. maybe not story wise, because again, i feel some characters were really off, but there were funny parts that entertained me. i think the idea behind the story is interesting, but the execution wasn't ovo

I agree. To me, it felt like they were trying to cover the things that fanfictioners and die-hard HP Fans asked for.

Yeah I also felt like they made ron kind off dumb but gah that ship (that you mentioned above) is so real!

CURSED CHILD SPOILERS!!!
I'm really glad that Al and Scorpius didn't end up together, I appreciate stories that end in just friendship.
I don't like the Augurey's origin story. Cold empty doesn't strike me as the type who would be willing to make a child, it's lazy writing, and the timeline doesn't make sense what with when who was in Azkaban. The part before the Augurey became a real presence in the story. After she started being a more active villain, there were some cool moments but the story's writing was much poorer. JK Rowling also writes better dialogue than what was in that play, so that was annoying.
All told it was still a fun and worthwhile read.

Somewhat semi spoilers!!!!!

Personally loved it. Totally didn't see Augureys heritage coming... well maybe the fad, but not the mom. It almost seemed a little too good to be true. It's was definitly and easy and light read, which is why I think a lot of people think it was lacking in a lot of places. I almost saw it as a fan fiction after it was all said and done. I feel like rose and scorpion would end up amazing together, though I can't say I'm not a wee disappointed in scorpion and albums not getting together. Don't get me wrong, I kind of get irritated when every other Fandom has a that one gay couple that's not really gay but it seems like everyone ships them as gay just to be gay. But I almost felt they were leaning in that direction. But either way, it was agood. I wish Auguery had more depth to her. All in all a good read.

***I noticed spelling and Grammer errors in this but I'm done trying to fight with my phones auto correct so please forgive me.
