i just noticed that HG are a lot like Warsaw in WW2! the Capitol is like the Nazis and the Districts are like the Jews.
in Mockingjay when they hide in Tigriss's attic is like in Warsaw when people hid Jews (like Anne Frank). just something i noticed in my lit class. anyone else notice that?

Yes, I was slightly thinking of that! And SPOILER: you know how they trick the children and then kill them? it somehow reminded me of WW2, though i don't know why.

the candy mountain ;3 when they took Jews to concentration camps they told the kids they were going to a candy mountain. also they would trick them into taking acid showers because in the ghettos they didn't GET showers so they were glad to see any kind of water. (i know a lot about this O.o)
