Sigyn is Loki's wife, at least in Norse Mythology. I'm not sure if she's in the comics, though she probably is.

But seriously, the only reason every fangirl from here to Tumblr hates her is because she's taking our precious Loki away. ;P Just because she's in the movie, though, doesn't mean that they would be married. If there's a Thor 3, they'd probably just have a love interest now and a deeper relationship in the third movie.

But, that is unusual, at least to me. A love interest for an antagonist? Hmm. I haven't seen a movie with something like that before.

I asked because "Thor 2" is a Comic adaption and if she don't appear in the Comics, why she should appear in the Movie? Sif is Thors Wife in the Mythology but in the Comics she is one of his "girls" and in the Movie she's a friend (okay they said she had feelings for him.) What I mean is.. why should appear Sigyn in Thor if she is not in the Comics? it's not a mythology-filming....
