I think it looks neat so far, but there are things that could be improved^^. It's quite a tricky pose, so I can see how you would have trouble with it. If you'd like to I could attempt a redline for you, I think that would be easier for me than words in this case. Otherwise, I think that in a pose where your animal is stretching upwards the back would probably be curved down, rather than up, to make a bit of an arched slope from the neck to the tail. The neck also looks slightly disconnected from the body, but I think that fixing the back should take care of that as well. About the legs on different levels, try moving the hind feel a little forward, together with the arched back it'll make the animal crouch a bit^^. I feel that none of this made any sence, so come back and prod me if you have any questions or would be interested in a redline^^'.

Ignore the background, I wasn't really trying with that.

Oh, a JRT (my fursona used to be a terrier, so I have a bit of a soft spot for them^^.), it's lovely to see specific dog breeds which have all the special features of the breed instead of looking like generic canines. He looks great, lovely job on him, oh he is just adorable. <3

XDAlice wrote:@Asterous - So cute! I love it. =) I don't really know how to critique it, but I like it alot. ^^

I'ma show you my newest one. =3 The shading looks better in real life, my camera just has trouble focusing. XP But I think he turned out well, any critique for me? ^^

Raenen

I don't draw people, so I might be wrong, but I think the eyes are a bit far appart giving him a slightly fish-like apperance? It's just the impression I get, especially together with the pouting mouth^^. Other than that it's nice, I like the shape of the face and the strong chin.

Allizia, it's very cute, I saw it in your signature earlier. I think the tail looks a little broken at the base, for a dog it's bent very sharply upwards (but I can see how it worked while it was still a cat^^.).

Hey guys. It's rather late so I'll give critique tomorrow.
This is a cat with wings. The character is a Gryphon though.
Don't ask |D

This is Susi's Terra, one of her owl based Gryphons.
She's making me want a gryphon character >:

Very creative! But I see you have some trouble with the wings there? They look a little short to me^^. These wing tutorials helped me a lot, perhaps they'll be of use to you too;

@Alice

I can redline that for you, if you'd like.

@allizia
I personally like it the way it is as well - though spotty has a point about the tail. ^^; otherwise it's absolutely gorgeous <3

my most recent character reference... it isn't coming out how i want it. any and all crit/redlines would be very welcome, especially on his clothing's color scheme/style. (Id prefer to keep his skin-tones/pattern as they are) He's a 14 year old modern-day character, if that'll help.

@ JtHMlover8 - I like the posture. =) I think shading and maybe some more detail on the clothes would make it a bit better? I'm just throwing what I think out there, I think it's really good... ^^; And redlining would be cool! I haven't been able to find criticism, and I really want to improve. ^^

@Allizia - So cute! I love it. =3

I'm not very good at critiquing... ^^;;

JtHM,

Very cool looking character. :3
His leg that's lifted looks really awkward though-- it looks REALLY short. You might want to define the bend more.

Was out doing errands today with my mom, got bored and drew a dragon all over my left hand--

That looks amazing ^^ I draw on my arms all the time. It reminds me of The Dragon of Pendor from "A Wizard of Earthsea".

@ Susiron ; Oooo,interesting! owo It looks real nice. I'd watch out with doing that a lot though,as the pen can scratch you up and infect you. xD

@ Jthm; I like the pose you gave him! His tail looks a bit high up though,and his left toes look a bit spread apart. Otherwise its fantastic,don't see many anthros other than horses,cats,or dogs here.~

@Allizia ; That's pretty cute! :'D You may want to lower the tail though,as that position would be very painful for a dog,no matter the style of the tail. Love the puzzled expression.~

Nothing much to show for me so livestreaming. Might do some free stuff if I have time. Pardon me if the stream drops out. x
