I don't think I really dislike anything about them personally ewe I love their little tongues and wings and stuff. It may be people that generally don't like insects? I have no idea :T

Yeah, I can't really think of anything. I kinda liked it when there was only one form of Marble Cat, but the two other forms are so cute. ^3^ I can't dislike them.

I hate the fact that they're so pretty and intricate so when I go to draw them it just looks so bad. x3

The only thing I didn't like in the beginning was the bidding, but NOT at all because I wasn't willing to pay the artist in the slightest but because, as auctions go, you usually have someone who outbids you with a Ton of pets, or in the ones I've gone for. Which was only a 'gah I lost another because I didn't have enough pets' not a 'I would never pay that much'. I'd I had the pets id totally pay with advent list+. So please don't think it was because I was against paying for one or paying the artist. It was just a minor, miniscule upset.

But I can see that as a reason for people not liking them. However with a lot not having bids as I believe optional I can't see why anyone would dislike them. They are high quality, the designs are beautiful, everyone here is very nice... But to each his own as the saying may or may not go.

Oh yea PL pointed out the bidding thing to me as well. But my thought was I'm not going to put all this work into a design and not get a reward as well. So when I switched over to opt bids i thought it would help make the cats and me more likable and seem approachable. Also I hoped to get more owners xD

I understand that thought, and completely agree with you! You do seem to put a lot of time and effort itno your designs (I can't know 100% because I'm not you, and I don't see you working on them ;]) But I fully believe a person should get paid for their designs. The optional bidding is nice, I always send in a bid if I try for a MC, or try to at least. I never really had an issue with the bidding, I can just really see why it would send people away... Especially newer CS members who are competing with others who may have '10 rares +.

It seemed your 'make a Marble Cat' Contest got a lot of interest from people who haven't adopted I totally am not stalking Marble Cats. Not in the slightest. So I wonder if that will eventually lead up to more people attempting and hopefully winning them.

I don't know if you have or have not yet, but you could try making a MC for non-owners (Ignore this if you already have!) That may bring in some people... You could also try simpler contests, if you haven't done that as well (Same as above) Like Guess the number, or I know some adoptable species do like guess my favorite soda, and incorporate it into the design somehow.

The only thing I don't like doesn't even have to do with their design. I don't understand the family tree formatting, though it appears to be universal for most of the species on here from what I've seen. Buutt this doesn't really count since its kind of my own fault for not putting any effort into learning. :V

I like everything about them, I've been trying to get one since practically the beginning. There really weren't that many people who said they disliked them and those people are probably the ones who don't like insects as has been suggested already. It is also possible that they might not like unnatural creatures or cats.
