I have a question/Theory.

In The Answer, Ruby and Sapphire looked like this.



But In other episodes they look different.
Ruby Sapphire

and as we know, most (if not all) gems change appearance when their physical form was destroyed.

So that could mean they possibly had their physical forms destroyed?

I don't know if this has already been discussed/concluded but I found it pretty interesting.

Well... they may of changed during "the return" when Jasper poofed Garnet. But, I'd believe it had to have been earlier than that, its been 5000 something years of protecting. I'd think that Garnet has gotten poofed by a monster or a Homeworld gem once or twice.

It's nothing diffrent. Its just the art stile due to the lighting. Look at blue diamond and her pearl, aka me, Our colors are normal due to being under the room blue diamond sat in. Then after they went down the brightness changed due to the rain storm. they were above a regular cloud layer to, making it brighter because the sun is like, right there.

I don't think so. Remember they changed their appearence when they destroyed the sign to fish stew pizza? they just changed their outfits like that so maybe thats how they changed it.

Nope, it's not just lighting. Look at the top of Sapphire's skirt and the front of Ruby's shirt. The designs are clearly different.

Nope, it's not just lighting. Look at the top of Sapphire's skirt and the front of Ruby's shirt. The designs are clearly different.

They had to regenerate in Jailbreak...and I'm sure they probably regenerated other times as we have seen 4 different Garnets now .

I was making some new refs for my gemsonas and I think I should consider getting a job in character design or something. Because I'm really getting that figured out.

They had to regenerate in Jailbreak...and I'm sure they probably regenerated other times as we have seen 4 different Garnets now .

I drew Lars cuz I really miss him... It's been some really intense stuff lately in the show and we haven't seen an episode about Lars since like, Horror Club?
I'd really love to see more of him after things with Peridot get sorted out. Maybe even see him interacting with her.
