I just found the first 3 chapters on Naruto Base, and I'm going to read through them.
I figure I'll give this new series 10 chapters. 10 chapters so see if it can get my hooked like the original did.
If not, I drop it.

I'm not crying. These aren't tears. Definitely, not tears of ultimate sorrow.
HE LOOKS NOTHING LIKE HIMSELF.
He's lost /everything/ that visually defined him, and I don't think any character redesign has ever made me sadder than this.
I mean, at this point, I would rather that Naruto had killed him than to have him end up like this. And honestly I only partly mean that for his design. His /whole character/ is a wreck now.
